Immortals Fenyx Rising Officially Announced, Coming in December
Immortals Fenyx Rising - the game once known as Gods & Monsters - has been officially re-revealed at the second Ubisoft Forward event, and will arrive for Xbox Series X and S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and Stadia on December 3.
Telling the story of Fenyx, a customisable hero attempting to rescue the Greek mythological pantheon after the escape of Typhon, Immortals looks to cross over some of the action-RPG and storytelling elements of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey with the free-form open world and bespoke puzzles of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. For more, be sure to check out our new Immortals Fenyx Rising hands-on preview.

With the entire game narrated by the bickering duo of Zeus and Prometheus, the open world will be entirely open from the beginning of the game, and feature multiple regions to explore.
Stadia players will receive a free, Stadia-exclusive demo of the game before release.

At its original reveal at E3 2019, the game featured an art style and UI that much more closely resembled Breath of the Wild. Immortals' new look hews a little closer to realism, albeit with exaggerated features and bold colour palettes for its setting, the Golden Isle.

Scream: Neve Campbell Is Returning as Sidney Prescott for New Movie
Neve Campbell will once again play Sidney Prescott in the upcoming Scream franchise relaunch.
The news was officially announced in a press release on Thursday. Campbell said in a statement that she's confident that Wes Craven's franchise is in good hands.
“After spending time speaking with Radio Silence [Productions], they have shown such love, respect and admiration for Wes Craven and all that he’s created in the Scream franchise," Campbell said. "I am beyond excited to step back into the role of Sidney Prescott and return to Woodsboro.”
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=the-best-horror-movies-on-netflix&captions=true"]
Campbell will reunite with previous cast members David Arquette and Courtney Cox. The three actors have appeared in every entry of the series so far. They will join newcomers Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega.
The previous four films were all directed by legendary horror filmmaker Wes Craven, who also directed the first Nightmare on Elm Street movie, The Last House on the Left and the original two Hills Have Eyes movies. Craven said in 2011 that the producers of Scream 4 envisioned the film as the start of a trilogy, but Craven unfortunately passed away in 2015. This new Scream movie will be directed by Ready or Not filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The press release calls the new Scream movie a "relaunch."
The movie will come to movie theaters on January 14, 2022, which is almost 11 years after Scream 4 was released and about 25 years after the original Scream.

IGN's review of Ready or Not calls the film, "a blood-soaked not-so-guilty pleasure," and it was awarded a 7.6 out of 10. For anybody looking for more horror movies now, here is IGN's list of the best horror movies on Netflix and IGN's top 25 horror movies of all time.

Ninja Returns to Twitch for Exclusive, Multi-Year Deal
Tyler "Ninja" Blevins is making a return to Twitch with a new exclusive, multi-year deal.
Blevins left Twitch back in August of 2019 to stream exclusively on Mixer but after the Microsoft-owned Mixer shut down earlier this year, the streamer's exclusivity contract was no more. This prompted him to stream elsewhere through YouTube and Twitch. But after flirting with being a free agent, Blevins announced today that he has signed an exclusive, multi-year deal with Twitch.
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=ninja-career-highlights&captions=true"]
"I am excited to get back to streaming full-time and connecting with my loyal fanbase," Blevins said. "I really took my time to decide which platform was best and Twitch has been very supportive throughout this process and understanding my overall career goals. In this next chapter, I'm going to make it a point to elevate and bring more eyes to underrepresented creators."
Blevins said he looks forward to working with Twitch to demonstrate "how this amazing community of gamers can make a meaningful impact." Blevins will celebrate with his first post-deal stream today at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET.
"We are thrilled Ninja is returning to Twitch," Twitch Senior Vice President of Content Michael Aragon said. "Tyler is an iconic force in the gaming community, and it's been amazing to see the impact he's made on the industry and broader culture. Gaming — and the people who love it — are being recognized by a broad mainstream audience now in part because of Tyler, and we know he's just getting started."

Blevins isn't the only Mixer-exclusive streamer that's returned to Twitch after Mixer shut down. Michael "Shroud" Grzesiek did the same just last month, and rapper Logic recently signed an exclusive deal with Twitch as well.

Ubisoft CEO Addresses Recent Company Scandals, Apologizes to All Victims
Ahead of the Ubisoft Forward livestream event, the company’s CEO Yves Guillemot appeared in a special video addressing the recent company scandals and promising more action to combat workplace toxicity and increase diversity within Ubisoft’s ranks.
In a special video message released by Ubisoft before the Ubisoft Forward showcase, Guillemot addressed audiences directly with a message that broadly covers some of the scandals that have hit the company in recent months.
On reports that Ubisoft’s human resources department failed to tackled workplace toxicity, Guillemot apologized to all the victims at the company. “This summer we learned that certain Ubisoft employees did not uphold our company’s values and that our system failed to protect the victims of their behavior. I am truly sorry to everyone who was hurt.” Guillemot says Ubisoft has taken “significant steps” to remove or sanctioned faulty parties. This was previously reported when a wave of top Ubisoft executives have stepped down or left, including Tommy François, Ashraf Ismail, Maxime Béland, Serge Hascoët, Tannis Mallat, and Cécile Cornet. Guillemot also announced a greater push for diversity in Ubisoft and the games industry. Guillemot says the company will invest an additional $1 million over the next five years into its graduate program which will create opportunities for women and people of color. An additional donation will be made to the NAACP. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/04/30/assassins-creed-valhalla-official-trailer"] He cited a recent controversy where the raised fist imagery was used as the symbol for a terrorist group called Umbra in the mobile game Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad. The raised fist has been historically associated with black liberation movements, most recently Black Lives Matter. Guillemot reaffirmed support for Black Lives Matter and to fighting against racism. Guillemot ends the video by saying he will personally lead the changes at Ubisoft, which shows he has no intention of stepping down or taking time away from the company during this time. You can see Guillemot’s full video embedded above, or in a VOD version of the Ubisoft Forward which will premiere at 12 pm PT today. Ubisoft said that due to constraints, Guillemot’s message will not air during the live version of the show. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Matt T.M. 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse Announced
Atomic Wolf has announced 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse, a first-person action-RPG set aboard the Arizona-12 nuclear submarine in a catastrophic world situation.
The game is set both after the apocalypse and before it. As the developers describe it, "For some unknown reason the vast majority of weapons that belong to the arsenal called "The Last Day Weapons" were not used. Created to deter, and now left without any control, they are powerful enough to end what remained of the life on our planet, when entrusted to the wrong hands. One of the most dangerous weapons of this arsenal is the Arizona-12. A secret submarine and military unit, that you’re serving on. So naturally quickly enough everybody who still had any sort of power left started to ask themselves who will take control over it and what will it be used for?"
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=4-minutes-to-the-apocalypse-screenshots&captions=true"]
You will fight your way towards control over the submarine using whatever objects you can find, discover the mystery behind what happened on the Arizona-12 during the initial nuclear blast, hide when the odds are stacked against you to try and survive, and ultimately take control of the Arizona-12 to try and stop the apocalypse.
Take a look at the reveal trailer at the top of this page. 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse will be released for PC in 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077: Night City Wire Episode 3 Coming Next Week
The third episode of CD Projekt Red's Night City Wire livestream showcase for Cyberpunk 2077 will take place on Friday, September 18 at 9am PT/12pm ET/6pm CEST and will "take you on a tour around Night City, check up on its gangs, and give you a sneak peek into the creation of #Cyberpunk2077 original score."
Cyberpunk 2077's official Twitter announced the news alongside a brief video that gives another glimpse at some of Night City's gangs, including the Animals, Aldecaldos, Maelstrom, The Mox, 6th Street, Tyger Claws, Valentinos, Voodoo Boys, and Wraiths.

These three starter paths - Nomad, Street Kid, and Corpo - were featured in our extensive hands-on preview of Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19, 2020, and will have free DLC alongside paid expansions, just like The Witcher 3.
