Final Fantasy 16 Revealed

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Gameplay Trailer Revealed

We were given an extended look at Spider-Man: Miles Morales and the trailer looks visually stunning, featuring combat with stylish combos and a potential reveal of Tinkerer as the villain. Spider-Man: Miles Morales was announced for PS4 and PS5 and will release in Holiday 2020. Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy Announced

The rumored Harry Potter RPG was finally announced with a world premiere trailer. Dubbed Hogwarts Legacy, it looks like players will be able to travel back to the late 1800s and visit well-known locations from the movies and books. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Campaign Gameplay Revealed

Not only that, but PS4 players will get exclusive access to the Cold War multiplayer alpha on September 18. Another entry to the FNAF series called Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach was announced. Demon's Souls Extended Gameplay Revealed

From Bluepoint and Sony Japan comes an extended look at Demon's Souls gameplay. It features some stunning looks at some of the locations in the game and a boss battle that ends in the series' signature "You Died" screen.

Unreal Engine 4 Fortnite Gameplay Revealed

A trailer showing us how Unreal Engine 4 Fortnite gameplay will look on the PS5. Fortnite will be available on the PS5 at launch.

PlayStation Plus Collection Announced for the PS5

Sony announced future PS5 owners subscribed to PlayStation Plus will have access to a number of big games at no additional cost with the PlayStation Plus Collection.

PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition Price and Release Dates Announced

Sony's next-gen consoles finally got prices and release dates. The regular PS5 is priced at US$499/£449/AU$750, while the Digital Edition will be available for US$399/£359/AU$600. Both PS5 consoles have a release date in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12. The consoles will launch in other territories on November 19. God of War: Ragnarok Teaser Trailer Revealed

Sony has revealed that full-priced first-party PlayStation 5 games will cost $70 at launch, seemingly pointing to a new higher price point on next-gen. Revealed in a PS Blog post after September's PS5 event, games like Demon's Souls and Destruction All Stars will come in at a $70 USD price point, while Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will come in at $50 USD (or $70 USD for the Ultimate Edition) and Sackboy A Big Adventure will be $60 USD. Demon’s Souls Is a PS5 Launch Game

Update: Following the PS5 event, a representative for Sony confirmed that the text indicating Demon's Souls would be coming to PC and other consoles in addition to PS5 was "included in error." As of now, the game is only slated for a PS5 launch. Original story follows: [poilib element="accentDivider"] Bluepoint Games and Sony Japan's Demon's Souls remake is a PS5 launch game. Announced at September's PS5 event, we also saw much more of the game in an extended gameplay demo that really showed off the graphical grunt in Bluepoint Games' remake. It looks smooth, highly detailed, and a truly impressive update of a PS3 game that is feeling a bit creaky these days. God of War Sequel Announced for PS5

The acclaimed God of War franchise will return on the PS5, as Sony and Santa Monica Studio announced God of War Ragnarok, a sequel to its acclaimed 2018 reboot. Announced at September's PS5 event, God of War's PS5 sequel was teased ever so briefly. The trailer ended with a 2021 window. It would go on to win IGN's Game of the Year 2018 award, at which time the game's director Cory Barlog sat down with IGN to reflect on God of War's successes, development, and more. God of War saw huge PS4 sales success, and while it did not receive updates, it got several free post-launch updates, including New Game+ and Photo modes.
