Disney was originally slated to open Mulan in theaters on March 27 -- the film was tracking to have the biggest domestic opening of 2020 -- before the studio postponed it to July 24 and then August 21 before they finally decided to forego a theatrical release entirely in favor of a debut on Disney+ on September 4 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Back in March, those invited to cover the film's L.A. press junket were allowed to share their reactions on social media to having seen director Niki Caro's loose reimagining of the 1998 animated classic. At the time, we rounded up those generally positive social media reactions to this new Mulan, which you can find below (this article was originally published March 9). Actor Sam Neill posted a nostalgic photo to social media Tuesday from behind the scenes of Jurassic World: Dominion showing the hat of his character, Dr. Alan Grant. Neill captioned the photo, "Hello old friend" and tagged his co-stars, the filmmakers and the respective trilogies that this 2021 sequel unites.

A recent Marvel's Avengers War Table may have contained an Easter Egg that hints at a future appearance by Kate Bishop's Hawkeye. Clint Barton's Hawkeye was recently confirmed to be joining Marvel's Avengers as a playable hero post-launch, and some concept art and a mention of the My Life as A Weapon comic may be teasing fans of a future appearance by Kate Bishop, as a playable hero or otherwise. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/07/29/hawkeye-reveal-trailer-for-marvels-avengers-4k"] Our detective work begins back at Marvel's Avengers first War Table where Kamala Khan finds an old photo of the Avengers Crew, which includes Tony Stark (Iron Man), Thor, Steve Rogers (Captain America), Natasha Romanova (Black Widow), Bruce Banner (Hulk), and Clint Barton (Hawkeye), standing together in their street clothes. As you can see in the image below, Hawkeye is sporting a bullseye logo. This is important because in Hawkeye's official reveal, a different logo is shown. This could simply mean Barton retired the old logo for a new one following the disaster that struck the Avengers, but a piece of concept art shared with his reveal hints at another story. Crystal Dynamics was very clear in stating that My Life as A Weapon, by writer Matt Fraction and artist David Aja, was the team's favorite comic arc for Hawkeye. The aforementioned concept art, which includes that old logo, was also drawn from this comic. Why does this matter? Because Hawkeye Volume 1: My Life as A Weapon includes Young Avengers Presents #6, which tells the story of Clint Barton and Kate Bishop's first meeting. While this obviously could just be a nod to Hawkeye's past, Kate Bishop is a very popular character that would be a welcome addition to Marvel's Avengers. This makes even more sense when you consider she will be appearing in Marvel's Hawkeye series on Disney+.
