Littlewood Review – Big Heart
My wife calls them "chore games." Day-to-day life simulations such as Stardew Valley, Graveyard Keeper, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons celebrate the mundanity of routine, assigning you daily lists of menial tasks to perform and rewarding you for completing them with another day and another to-do list. Littlewood is most certainly another one of these chore games. Rather than weighing it down, Littlewood's daily grind is leavened by a lean, focused approach to its various labors, the swift turnover of its day-night cycle, and a dash of mystery that elevates its charming setting.
Peace has spread across the land of Solemn in the aftermath of the defeat of a dark wizard. Leading the victorious band of adventurers was a great hero who, in classic video game protagonist tradition, is now suffering from amnesia. He or she cannot remember a single thing about the battle, the triumph, or life beforehand. Nonetheless, at the urging of the friends you apparently fought alongside, you are granted the tiny village of Littlewood and tasked with managing its recovery in a post-war world.

Ninja Starts Streaming on Twitch Again After Mixer Closure
After streaming, Blevins shared that he hit Affiliate status on Twitch, a tongue-in-cheek joke considering his popularity. Twitch's official Twitter account responded that it was nice to see him around. Blevins was freed from his Mixer contract, rumored to be worth millions, and has since been found streaming on other services like YouTube. Blevins did not sign an exclusivity contract with YouTube, and it’s unclear if Blevins is interested in signing one with Twitch either. Video game streaming services such as Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook are locking popular streamers to their services. Rapper Logic recently retired from music to stream exclusively with Twitch, and PewDiePie signed an exclusive streaming deal with YouTube. [widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=ninja-career-highlights&captions=true"] These exclusive contracts have become a new battleground for competing streaming services looking to get an edge in an increasingly popular entertainment medium. NBA Star Donovan Mitchell Reveals Spider-Man-Inspired Adidas Sneaker
The D.O.N. Issue #2 collection features a BOUNCE midsole that arms Mitchell with enhanced comfort and stability for explosive on-court movements. The sneaker complements his style of play when it comes to his illusive speed and power, equipped with great traction. New to the model is a higher heel counter calling attention to the guard’s spider-inspired logo. The upper features an engineered soft and breathable mesh that provides improved lateral support through a webbed lacing system.“I’m not just a basketball player,” said Mitchell in a press release. “I want kids to have my shoes not only because they are fans but because there’s a purpose behind them... I will continue to speak on what I feel is right and what needs to change... I don’t just speak for Donovan Mitchell, I speak for Black people and minorities knowing change is not necessarily happening next year or the one after that, but it does start with the future and that is where kids are.” The Spidey-Sense sneaker is priced at $100 and will be available on Adidas.com and select other retailers beginning on August 28. Adidas teases more new designs to come in the latter half of 2020. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/05/avengers-spider-man-exclusivity-is-good-for-playstation-bad-for-players-opinion"] In other Spider-Man news, we just learned he'll be a playable DLC character in Marvel's Avengers... but only on the PS4 version. Unsurprisingly, some gamers are less than thrilled with this news. Fortunately, Spider-Man is the only playable character who will be locked to a specific system. The Suicide Squad Gets a Comics-Accurate Movie Logo
Eagle-eyed aficionados of old school DC Comics will recognize the bullet-riddled logo as being a direct homage to the Suicide Squad comics of the 1980s, which Gunn is drawing inspiration from for his movie. Check it out: The gunshot logo should also be familiar to fans of The A-Team, the 1980s mercs on the run TV series. As Gunn promised, The Suicide Squad will be among the many upcoming DC movies set to present fans with first look footage and imagery at DC FanDome, Warner Bros.' virtual convention being held August 24. For more on The Suicide Squad, read up on why the film's title wasn't originally meant to be The Suicide Squad and why The Suicide Squad won't be delayed like so many other productions affected by the pandemic.
