Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead Announced
Physics-based puzzle game Bridge Constructor is teaming up with The Walking Dead for a zombie-themed spinoff.
During Opening Night Live, Headup Games premiered a cheeky live-action trailer that was short on gameplay but filled with humor. So don't expect a darker tone for this Walking Dead spinoff.

In Bridge Constructor, players must build a physically stable bridge. However, if your architectural planning is suspect, the bridge may collapse in outrageous ways. It's unclear if your job is to get zombies safely across the bridge or stop them.
Bridge Constructor The Walking Dead will be released sometime in 2020.

Dragon Age 4: First- Look Trailer Revealed at Gamescom
Dragon Age 4 has gotten a first-look trailer at Gamescom.
During Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2020, executive producer Mark Darrah and other developers at the studio discussed the series and showed new concept art from the game, new in-development footage, and discussed the game's goals - oh, and showed off the return of love-hate character Solas.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/27/dragon-age-4-behind-the-scenes-teaser"]
The footage showed a variety of new locations - including what may be an underwater realm - and we glimpsed new characters Bellaria and Davrin, and their voice actors, Jee Young Han and Ike Amadi.
As for a plot, we didn't learn much, but Bioware wants to create a story about what happens when you don’t have power, and when the people in charge don’t address the issues in the world.
While we've known it's been in development for some time, Dragon Age 4 has only been hinted at previously, with our last look at the game coming in the form of concept art revealed as BioWare confirmed that it was working on next-gen games.

The King’s Man Release Postponed to 2021
The King's Man theatrical release has been pushed to 2021.
In a move that's not all that uncommon these days, The King's Man's release was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It was originally set for release on Sept. 18 but has been pushed back five months to February 26, 2021, according to a press release from Disney.
The company also announced that Nomadland will get a limited release on Dec. 4 and that a new Pixar Animation film, now titled Luca, will be released June 18, 2021.

The Eternals, which was pushed back to February 12, 2021 after Black Widow took its November slot, has received an updated title according to the press release: Eternals.
The King's Man distribution hands switched from 21st Century Fox to Disney after the latter purchased the former last year and hasn't seen much marketing from Disney since the pandemic began.
It's why a delay like this isn't surprising. After all, it's not alone as many movies have seen their release and production schedules delayed due to the virus. Disney has been trying different things when it comes to putting out their movies during this pandemic. Disney films like Mulan are going tp Disney+, while The New Mutants, which became a Disney movie after the 21st Century Fox acquisition much like The King's Man, is set to release in theaters tomorrow.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/the-kings-man-official-trailer-3"]
It remains possible that The King's Man, a prequel to 2014's Kingsman: The Secret Service and its subsequent sequel, will see its release route change again if COVID-19 remains an issue come next year but for now, it's set for February 26, 2021.
If you're looking for more of The King's Man while waiting for its release, read about how it began as a different movie not set in the Kingsman universe. Then watch this video about how the prequel ups the crazy Kingsman action. If that's not enough, be sure to check out the latest trailer for The King's Man.
Here are some ways to help, and stay safe, during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Haunting of Hill House Season 2: Fans Invited to Call Bly Manor
Netflix has released a creepy new teaser for The Haunting of Hill House Season 2, inviting fans to call Bly Manor to schedule an interview for a "live-in nanny" role.
The Haunting Twitter page shared a photo of a "help wanted" advertisement featured inside a newspaper, which appears to be submerged underwater. "Seeking au pair for two perfectly splendid children at the Bly Manor residence," the ad reads. "Manor is located on the English countryside. Positions begin immediately."
A telephone number is printed directly below the vacancy for potential applicants to call to schedule an interview. However, when fans dial the number +44 1273 915253, they are greeted with a voicemail recorded by one of the Wingrave children, who explains that the "perfectly splendid" interviews will be conducted by Uncle Henry in "five days" time. Since the ad was posted on August 26, the referenced timeframe might indicate that something significant about Bly Manor will be released on August 31, though, for now, this is only speculation. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/07/26/shudders-scary-good-tv-showrunners-official-panel-comic-con-2020"] Shortly after the advert appeared online, the Haunting Twitter page posted an image of Bly Manor, describing it as "a great, good place." The residence is set back on a remote estate, looming over immaculate grounds with perfectly preened gardens. While the photo presents an idyllic picture, fans were encouraged to "look beneath the surface" in the official poster for the anthology series.Help wanted. pic.twitter.com/tJzkwLGPf5

The Haunting of Bly Manor is set to adapt Henry James' 1898 novel The Turn of the Screw, which is widely regarded as one of the best and most influential horror novels ever written. The novella is narrated by an unnamed protagonist, who recounts the details of a manuscript written by a governess. This manuscript relays the governess' experiences caring for two children at Bly Manor and her slow realization that the grounds may be haunted. The Turn of the Screw has been adapted to film, stage, and TV numerous times, most famously in the form of 1961's The Innocents. Geoff Keighley Weighs in on PS5 and Xbox Series X
In the latest episode of IGN Unfiltered, Geoff Keighley talked about the upcoming launch of the Xbox Series X and PS5, and how the philosophies of each platform impact their standing.
Ryan McCaffrey sat down with Keighley to discuss a wide range of topics in the latest episode of IGN Unfiltered, including his friendship with Hideo Kojima, Keighley's storied history with awards shows, the cancellation of E3, what the 2020 Game Awards will be like, and much, much more.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/25/geoff-keighley-talks-game-awards-hideo-kojima-xbox-vs-ps5-and-more-ign-unfiltered-53"]
When asked about his thoughts on the upcoming generation of consoles, and the current position both Sony and Microsoft occupy in the console landscape, Keighley said, "What I will say overall is, I'm amazed that two new consoles are coming out this year, in this environment... In terms of the positioning of the machines... they're going down different paths.
"I think PlayStation is in a really strong position. I think [the] PS5 [is a] great machine... the controller, which I've got to play with, is really, really cool. An amazing lineup of first-party games. They're kind of running the same play that they've run before, and [it] worked really well for them. The games they showed in their lineup... the SSD stuff looks incredible. So I'm excited about that."
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/06/11/playstation-5-reveal-reactions-breakdown-console-design-ps5-sequels-and-more"]
"Xbox is playing a different game. I think the Game Pass stuff is a really compelling story for them... I think Xbox has a good story as well, and a different story than what Sony is approaching... I think Xbox has to really deliver the great first-party games. That's always the challenge for them, and I think Halo had its challenges [at the Xbox Games Showcase] when they showed it." Following the interview, it was announced that Halo Infinite will be pushed to 2021, meaning it will no longer be a launch title for Series X. Check out the Next-Gen Console Watch discussion on the ramifications of this announcement.
"Who knows what Sony has for launch? They've been kind of vague about it. They have a lot of games coming, but what's actually coming at launch, around it? And overall, I think it's a different generation, because... I think one of the biggest launch games is going to be Cyberpunk for all of these systems, which is just gonna run better on [Series X and PS5], but [it has] forwards and backwards compatibility, so it's different.
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/03/20/ps5-vs-xbox-series-x-full-spec-analysis-next-gen-console-watch"]
"I think Sony has a really strong story to tell. We don't know what the price is there, but I'm really excited about some of the games that I've seen there. Sony's mastery of these incredibly rich single-player experiences. I think Xbox has a really good story about value for gamers, around a lot of diversity of choice.
"I think Sony's challenge will be... the price and the premium experience, and making sure that people are able to... purchase into that this year. Xbox's challenge, I think, is that Game Pass is great, but it's gotta have the really great flagship games in it. You don't want it to... be like your 'basic cable package,' where it's like, 'It has a lot of cool stuff, but what I really want is HBO' and those games are outside of Game Pass... That's kind of a long-winded answer, but I'm really excited about the new consoles. I think both consoles have really unique, interesting stories to tell."

COD Black Ops Cold War Runs at 4K 120hz on Next-Gen Consoles
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will run at 4K resolution and with refresh rates of 120hz on next-gen consoles.
In an interview with Venture Beat, Treyarch studio co-head Dan Bunting said: "We want to make sure that the framerate is responsive, and that it feels like there’s nothing on the technical side preventing you from having a good time.”
[ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/08/26/call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-reveal-trailer"]
Supporting a refresh rates of 120hz means the potential of up to 120fps. The article does not state if Cold War will be locked at 120fps on next-gen, but if the PS5 and Xbox Series X are capable of such frame rates in 4K with the graphical fidelity shown in the new trailer, then it's a seriously strong showing.
In addition to high frame rates, the PS5 version of the game will also support haptic feedback, while both consoles' SSD drives mean that Cold War has no loading screens between cinematics and gameplay. And, not to miss out on next-gen's flagship tech, the game features real-time ray tracing. That's a lot to render at 120fps.
[widget path="global/article/imagegallery" parameters="albumSlug=call-of-duty-black-ops-cold-war-campaign-screenshots&captions=true"]
It's worth noting that not all TVs have such high refresh rates (many older models are capped at 60hz or 100hz) and those that do support 120hz require high-speed HDMI v2.1 cables to deliver the frame rates. If you're hoping for this kind of performance it's worth seeing what your TV can output. But even 4K/60fps from Cold War is likely to look impressive.
If you're not up to date with this year's COD, Black Ops Cold War is a return to the original BlOps team of Mason, Woods, and Hudson and is set in 1981. It releases this November 13 and will be available in a variety of bundles.
