Amnesia and SOMA Developer Teases Its Next Project

Frictional Games, the studio behind horror game classics like Amensia: The Dark Descent and SOMA, appears to be teasing their next project with a mysterious update to its website, according to a report from RockPaperShotgun.

Frictional appears to have updated their website sometime around the holiday, adding a new entry to the site’s “games” tab. The new listing is simply called “Next Frictional Game,” but where things get somewhat interesting is what happens when you click on the link.

Sam Raimi Wants to Make Another Evil Dead With Original Star Bruce Campbell

Sam Raimi says that he and Bruce Campbell are working with a filmmaker who will write and direct a new Evil Dead movie. Raimi is up for directing another one himself, but only if Campbell comes out of retirement as the character.

Raimi made the announcement in a Reddit AMA on Thursday while promoting the remake of The Grudge, which Raimi produced. As for who's making the new Evil Dead movie, Raimi only said that the filmmaker is young and male. He also expressed hope that Campbell will return to the role.

Former WWE Superstar CM Punk recently shared an image of what WrestleMania 30 -- which took place April 6, 2014 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans -- was supposed to look like, as of January 20 that year, before Punk quit the company in the beginning of February.

Rise of Skywalker Star Hopes There’s a Director’s Cut

Lost, LOTR, and Star: Wars Rise of Skywalker star Dominic Monaghan recently spoke about all the extra footage J.J. Abrams shot for Episode IX that didn't make it into the film, noting that he wishes fans can one day see the sidelined scenes.

In an interview with THR, Monaghan said “Like a lot of Star Wars fans, I’m hoping there will be a director’s cut so we’ll get to see more and more of the stuff that was filmed."

Amazon’s Hunters Release Date and Trailer Revealed

Amazon Prime Video has announced that its Nazi-hunting conspiracy thriller Hunters, starring Al Pacino and executive produced by Jordan Peele, will premiere on February 21, 2020.

Hunters also received a new trailer, which you can see in the video below or on top of the page, and it previews the story of a diverse band of Nazi hunters who live in New York City in 1977. After discovering that high-ranking Nazi officials are living amongst us, they must stop their plan to "create a Fourth Reich in the U.S."

Alongside Pacino, Hunters stars Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.

Here’s Why Disney Plus Is Losing Pirates of the Caribbean and Home Alone

Reports are coming out that Disney+, the company’s video streaming service, is starting to lose some films in its library including Pirates of the Caribbean and Home Alone.

The company confirmed that a small number of titles are leaving Disney+ temporarily due to existing legacy deals. But these titles will return once the deals expire and Disney can once again host those films.

Star Wars: How J.J. Abrams Convinced [Spoiler] to Return

Warning: this article contains major spoilers for Star Wars - The Rise of Skywalker!

Amid all the big surprises in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, perhaps none is more welcome or unexpected than the return of Harrison Ford as Han Solo. Even more surprising, it turns out director J.J. Abrams didn't have to work very hard to convince the notoriously Star Wars-wary Ford to reprise that iconic role one last time.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Abrams revealed all it took was a simple phone call. "Well, I called him and I said, ‘We want to have a scene in the film between Kylo Ren and his father, would you do it?’ And he said, ‘Okay.’”
