Saga-capper Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker may have featured the final clash between the Jedi and Sith, but there's still an important battle currently happening off-screen - the silent war between 2019 phenomenon Baby Yoda, from Star Wars: The Mandalorian, and porgs!

Porgs, the adorable (and tasty?) bird-like aliens who lived on the planet Ahch-To, became all the rage back in 2017 thanks to The Last Jedi. But now, despite them reappearing in The Rise of Skywalker, no one's saying a peep about them.

While Netflix's The Witcher series is most certainly full of surprises, the biggest one has to be the twist of the three main characters existing, for most of the season, in separate timelines. Dave Filoni Posts Message to Star Wars Fans Worried About Ahsoka’s Fate

SPOILERS AHEAD for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and The Mandalorian's Dave Filoni has drawn and shared an image of Ahsoka Tano and The Lord of the Ring's Gandalf to reassure fans of of the beloved once-Jedi that her fate may not be as clear as The Rise of Skywalker may have made them believe.

Ahsoka Tano, who was created by George Lucas and Filoni and was once Anakin Skywalker's Padawan, was one of the past Jedi who spoke to Rey during the toughest moments of her battle with Emperor Palpatine. All of these other Jedi had passed away, but this new image by Filoni has given hope to fans of the Togruta who has captured hearts across the galaxy.

Martin Scorsese’s Daughter Gave Him Christmas Gifts in Marvel Wrapping Paper

Martin Scorsese's daughter, Francesca Scorsese, chose to wrap her father's presents in Marvel-themed wrapping paper.

Picked up by the folks on Reddit, Francesca posted a story on her Instagram showing off the delightful present she wrapped for her father in what appears to be Avengers themed wrapping paper. She captioned the piece, "Look what I'm wrapping my Dad's Xmas gifts in," complete with cry laughing emoji.

A Super Mario World Guitar Is Made Out of 10k Lollipop Sticks

An avid Mario fan and music lover spent months to craft a Super Mario World guitar made out of 10,000 lollipop sticks. The sticks were individually dyed, cut, trimmed, and measured to create the Mario themed image.

Reported by Nintendo Life, YouTuber Cranmer Guitars shared his work of art on his channel, going into detail about the process of making the Super Mario World lollipop stick guitar.

As you can imagine, this was a pretty involved process and took the creator seven months in total to accomplish. In his video, the creator shares that it took around three months just to cut and shape all of the lollipop sticks into 29,000 pixels that would be used for the design.

Machine Made of LEGOs Uses Neural Networks to Sort LEGOs

LEGO enthusiast and YouTuber Daniel West has created what he believes to be the next evolution of LEGO sorting machines. His creation is the first of its kind and uses AI and Neural Networks to sort any kind LEGO brick — something that's never been done.

As spotted by Nerdist, in his video, West explains that his LEGO sorter is the third in existence, but is the latest and greatest in the line of brick sorters. While the other two machines that exist sort LEGO's into different categories, Wests' machine is the only one capable of sorting any LEGO brick in existence, as long as it has a 3D model.

Shawshank Redemption at 25: The Story Behind Andy’s Iconic Escape

As 2019 comes to a close and the awards season ramps up, expect plenty of ceremonies, from the Golden Globes to the Academy Awards, to serve up the usual share of cinematic clip reels celebrating iconic sequences from now classic films. And in particular, look out for that triumphant scene of Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) standing, arms aloft in the rain, rejoicing in his prison break to freedom in The Shawshank Redemption.

The movie celebrated its 25th anniversary this past October, and audiences have consistently voted The Shawshank Redemption as one of the best films ever made in the years since its release. Directed and written by Frank Darabont, The Shawshank Redemption was nominated for seven Academy Awards back in 1995, including nods for Frank’s writing, Thomas Newman’s stirring score, and Roger Deakins’ cinematography.
