No Time to Die: The Internet Thinks Rami Malek Is Playing Dr. No
Some 007 fans have theorized that Rami Malek is, in fact, playing a rebooted version of Dr. No, the original Bond baddie from the 1962 movie of the same name, in the upcoming No Time to Die.
Several spectators have taken to social media to draw comparisons between Malek's supervillain Safin and Joseph Wiseman's Dr. Julius No, highlighting similarities and connections between the pair, though nothing official has been said on the matter as of yet.
From the outset, there have been some apparent parallels between the plot of Dr. No, the first film in the franchise, and No Time to Die, the final Bond film starring Daniel Craig as 007. In the original storyline, Bond was dispatched to Jamaica to investigate the disappearance of a fellow British agent, with the trail eventually leading him towards No's underground lair. Whereas the upcoming plot sees Bond's peaceful retirement in Jamaica interrupted when his CIA friend Felix Leiter tracks him down seeking help to rescue a kidnapped scientist in a mission that gives rise to "a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology."
Wheel of Time Amazon Series Casts Thom Merrilin, Padan Fain
Amazon's Wheel of Time has cast four key characters, including one fans were worried wouldn't make it into Season 1.
Alexandre Willaume, a Danish actor best known for his roles in The Last Kingdom and 2018's Tomb Raider, will play fan-favorite gleeman Thom Merrilin, a central figure in the Wheel of Time books. Joining him are Johann Myers (The Lost City of Z) as Padan Fain, Hammed Animashaun (Black Mirror) as the ogier Loial and Spanish actor Alvaro Morte (Money Heist) as Logain.

These four characters play relatively small but pivotal roles in Season 1 of Wheel of Time, which is based on the Robert Jordan novel The Eye of the World (book 1 in his 14-book Wheel of Time series). All four go on to play much larger roles in the series as a whole, however, with Thom and Padan Fain being particularly significant.

The Outlast Trials Adds Co-Op to the Survival Horror Series
Red Barrels has announced The Outlast Trials, a co-op entry in the Outlast survival horror series.
The Outlast Trials is set in the same universe as Outlast and Outlast 2, but earlier in the timeline as it takes place during the Cold War. Red Barrels notes that “The Outlast Trials will allow players to face the horrors of the trials by themselves or cooperate with up to 3 other test subjects,” which suggests that the game will take place in some kind of science facility.
The game is currently in development, with no release date currently in sight. Red Barrels co-founder David Chateauneuf says “Now we’ve done our proof of concept, it is time to focus on content creation, variety… and gore.”

PlayStation Is ‘No Longer’ Interested in Making Handheld Consoles
Sony has confirmed that it doesn’t consider itself to be in the business of making handheld gaming consoles any more. That means we shouldn’t expect a follow-up to the PSP or PlayStation Vita anytime soon, if ever.
President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Jim Ryan recently spoke to Game Informer for a feature that looks back on the 25-year history of PlayStation consoles. As part of this, he remembered the PlayStation Vita and confirmed that there were no plans for any more PlayStation consoles like it in the future.
“PlayStation Vita was brilliant in many ways, and the actual gaming experience was great, but clearly it’s a business that we’re no longer in now,” Ryan said.
