Full-Size Commodore 64 Revival Coming Soon
Homebrew enthusiasts will be happy to know that a proper Commodore 64 is on its way. Unlike last year's Commodore 64 mini, this updated version dubbed "THEC64" includes a full-size keyboard and an updated joystick controller, something we weren't too fond of in its mini counterpart.
As reported by Polygon, Retro Games Ltd., the creators of THEC64, say the updated unit will begin shipping to Europe sometime this month. No word has been given on a US release as of this time.
Caroll Spinney, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch actor, Dead at 85
Caroll Spinney, the longtime puppeteer and voice actor for Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, has died at the age of 85, according to a press release from the Sesame Workshop.
Spinney was a staple of Sesame Street from the show’s inception in 1969, where he inhabited the roles of the 8’2’’ Big Bird in a full-body costume and the curmudgeonly Oscar the Grouch for nearly half a century.
Spinney died at his home in Woodstock, Connecticut following complications from a history of dystonia, a common muscular condition which causes contractions.
Free Guy: Ryan Reynolds’ New NPC Adventure is Basically GTA: The Movie
In Free Guy, Ryan Reynolds stars as an unassuming NPC in a chaotic open-world video game who becomes self-aware and sees himself as a hero fit to thwart all the rampant crime -- which sounds a lot like if you were to make GTA: The Movie.
Not only does the footage remind folks of other "break the system from within" flicks like The Matrix, Wreck-It Ralph, Tron, and even The LEGO Movie, but its virtual world seems to be heavily influenced by a mega game franchise - Grand Theft Auto. In fact, the film's composer, Christophe Beck, told SYFY WIRE that the movie was a "cross between Grand Theft Auto and The Truman Show." Watch the trailer again below if you haven't seen it yet:

The other five 2019 Disney movies are (via Box Office Mojo):
- 1. Avengers: Endgame $2.8 billion
- 2. The Lion King $1.656 billion

Crisis on Infinite Earths: How the Arrowverse’s Most Massive Crossover Came Together
To say the Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover is a huge undertaking would be a major understatement. The crossover ties together five different TV series - Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow - each of which are juggling their own casts and ongoing storylines. For some shows like Arrow, Crisis is the end of a years-long journey. For others, like Supergirl and The Flash, it's the launching point for new stories in 2020.
The CW brought together five Arrowverse producers - Legends of Tomorrow's Keto Shimizu, Supergirl's Robert Rovner, Batwoman's Caroline Dries, Arrow's Beth Schwartz, and Crisis overseer Marc Guggenheim - to talk more about what lies in store for the Arrowverse and why the crossover was such an immense mission.

Extended Chase Scene From Rise of Skywalker Shown at Brazil Comic Con
One of the most anticipated panels at Brazil Comic Con Experience 2019 revealed exclusive new footage from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy presented attendees at Saturday’s panel with an extended version of the chase scene that was recently released. While this longer version of the scene isn’t available online, IGN Brazil was there to break down what was shown.
The scene starts with Rey, Finn, Poe, BB-8 and C-3PO being chased through the deserts of the planet Pasaana. Poe reaches a broken transport vehicle and, like the true mechanic he is, starts fixing it. A loud sound comes out of the engine and smoke is spotted.
