Next Spring, Skybound and Image Comics will launch Fire Power, a new creator-owned comic book series from The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman, joined by artist Chris Samnee, colorist Matthew Wilson, and letterer Russ Wooton. It’s a martial arts story that follows a man discovering both his family history and the hidden power of -- yep, you guessed it -- shooting fire from your hands.

That said, the real reason to get fired up is the return of the mighty Chris Samnee. After epic, unforgettable runs on Daredevil, Black Widow, and Captain America over at Marvel Comics, Samnee disappeared from monthly comics for a while. The site was located on a stretch of lush green land surrounded by rolling hills and old ruins, which served as the backdrop for an action-packed sequence involving the powerful sorceress, Yennefer of Vengerberg.

Netflix has revealed the final trailer for The Witcher TV show on its UK Twitter account, and it provides us with a nice overview of what we can expect from the overarching story.

While filled with clanging swords and marching troops, the voice clips used through the trailer emphasises the threat that the Nilfgaardian Empire poses to the world, with Yennefer suggesting that their army has the might to destroy everything. It's also hinted that Nilfgaard are looking for Princess Ciri, who seems key to the whole conflict. Henry Cavill's Geralt vows to find and protect her, indicating he'll have more of a role than just a simple monster slayer in this story.

Original Justice League director, Zack Snyder, has posted a brand new photo of Henry Cavill wearing a black Superman suit, which appears to confirm that Superman ditched his traditional costume in the infamous Snyder Cut.

In a post on social media network Vero on Thursday, Snyder continued to build momentum in the "Release the Snyder Cut" movement, founded by fans who want to see the fabled alternate cut of the 2017 Justice League movie.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director JJ Abrams and Rey actress Daisy Ridley have commented on why the sequel trilogy ignore midichlorians in their portrayal of the Force.

At a press conference in Tokyo, the cast and crew of the forthcoming Star Wars movie were asked whether George Lucas’ unexplored ideas regarding midichlorians will ever be explored in canon. The question was mangled in translation into English, but led to an interesting discussion nonetheless.

Valve was recently asked if Half-Life: Alyx could ever come to PlayStation VR and its response wasn’t an outright no.

PushSquare reached out to Valve designer Greg Coomer to ask if Half-Life: Alyx could come to PlayStation VR one day. Coomer got back to say that the “initial” release would be “available for SteamVR only.” That much we already know.

However, Coomer then that he has to give that answer "because we’re very focused on the initial release" right now. He then finished up by saying that Valve has "not ruled anything out" when it comes to bringing Half-Life: Alyx to other platforms.

Star Wars' John Boyega has publicly apologized for the "badly-worded" comments he made in a recent interview that covered social media abuse, which some fans believed were referencing his Last Jedi co-star Kelly Marie Tran.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday morning, the actor issued a statement to clarify the interview quotes that have been circulating, in which he told Variety that a person is "weak" if they "believe in every single thing" that they read online.

"In no way was I referring to Kelly when I made my comments although the interviewer mentioned her given the topic," he explained in the post. "I was really speaking from my own perspective throughout this franchise. Sometimes I've felt strong and sometimes I've felt weak. Badly worded though. I apologize."
