Fast and Furious Crossroads Game Announced

A new Fast and the Furious video game has been announced called Fast & Furious Crossroads, coming May 2020.

It was announced during The Game Awards by actors Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel, who will also be playing their characters from the film in the game itself.

Not many details were revealed about Fast & Furious Crossroads, but it does appear to be a story-driven action/driving game (as you might imagine) set in the cinematic universe. There are plenty of cars, many of which are outfitted with some pretty heavy weaponry as well. And you'll be driving through some over-the-top set pieces in each area.

Rodriquez and Diesel went on to announce the winner of Game of the Year at The Game Awards, and you can find all the winners here. IGN's own Game of the Year award winners, meanwhile, were announced earlier this week.

Elder Scrolls Online Teases a New Expansion Set in Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls Online concludes its yearlong Season of the Dragon content and teases the next chapter in ZeniMax Online’s MMORPG adventure. And it’s going to be set in Skyrim.

During The Game Awards, Bethesda premiered a new cinematic trailer that concludes the Season of the Dragon content saga, a yearlong roadmap for Elder Scrolls Online that was tied to the release of the Elsweyr expansion. But we’re almost in a new year and that means there’s a new expansion coming.

The Game Awards teaser ends with the line, “Explore the Dark Heart of Skyrim,” and invites fans to a reveal event on January 16, 2020.

Skyrim is the location players explore in the Elder Scrolls 5, and that’s one of the most-beloved Elder Scrolls games in the series. Skyrim is already an explorable location in Elder Scrolls Online, but the teaser suggests that the new expansion will dive deeper into the region. We’ll find out in January what exactly the “dark heart” of Skyrim means.
