Joker Star Wants to Be a Part of the MCU’s X-Men
Joker has not only become the most profitable comic book movie of all time but it's led to many discussions, story-wise, about what's real and what's not with regards to Arthur Fleck's unreliable narrator status. A centerpiece of this is Zazie Beetz's neighbor character, Sophie, who was crucial to one of the twists in the plot, and whose ultimate fate was left unanswered.
Beetz is also know for playing a big role in another comic book movie, as she was Deadpool 2's super-powered luck machine Domino. Of course, Deadpool is (the R-rated) part of Fox's X-Men universe, but now that Disney's brought the X-Men film rights back to Marvel, and Marvel plans on making an X-Men movie at some point, Beetz has gone on record saying she'd love to play Storm.
The Best Games of 2019 (Didn’t Do Anything New)
Ray tracing, haptic feedback, social strands, surprise mechanics, 8k resolution, “play as anyone”, adaptive triggers, games-as-service, advanced processing units... it never ends with the buzzwords, jfc.
Now, I know we’re supposed to be excited about all this new technology and all these new way to play games, and I’m as likely as the next guy to pre-order a PS5 and/or Xbox... Two? Good-looking games are better than the alternative, no one is arguing that.

AND YET! Is any of this crap going to make games more fun? Did playing Borderlands 2 in VR make it more enjoyable, or did it make you motion-sick? The Fornite Black Hole event was novel, sure, but Is Season 2 of Fortnite doing anything that “Season 1” wasn’t already doing? Did turning Fallout into a weird MMO social experiment make it more fun than a regular-ass Fallout game would have been?

The record-smashing Avengers: Endgame not only capped of 10 years, and three Phases, of Marvel movies, but now Disney is submitting the cast for Oscar consideration.
The film's lengthy final battle, featuring the Avengers vs. 2014 Thanos and his evil horde, has also become a topic of endless exploration. Like how co-writer Christopher Markus recently admitted to the plot hole involving Captain America using Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir.

However, fans have since become primed and ready for the recently announced fourth Matrix installment, which will see the return of Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and others. Though long rumored, frustratingly little about this sequel has been revealed so far.
Star Wars: Here’s What the First Three Episodes of The Mandalorian Are About
When Disney+ launches on Tuesday, November 12, subscribers will gain access to the first episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. Following the premiere, the second episode will drop on November 15, and then afterwards on a weekly (Friday) basis until the finale airs on December 27.
Starring Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Ming-Na Wen, and Taika Waititi (voicing IG-11), The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. Existing at the center of good and evil, the series follows a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

How Doctor Sleep Handles the Legacy of Jack Torrance
Full SPOILERS ahead for Doctor Sleep!
While it was known that new actors had been cast as several returning characters from The Shining in the sequel Doctor Sleep, it wasn’t known beyond the rumor stage whether Shining protagonist Jack Torrance himself would show up in the Mike Flanagan-directed film adaptation of Stephen King’s book.
As it turns out, the rumors were correct about the character returning for Doctor Sleep — and who would play him. Henry Thomas — yes, Elliott from E.T.: The Extraterrestrial! — plays Jack Torrance in Doctor Sleep. (This was first reported by ScreenRant last year.) Thomas has also appeared in Mike Flanagan’s other projects The Haunting of Hill House, Gerald’s Game, and Ouija: Origin of Evil.
Dan Aykroyd Calls Ghostbusters 2020 Script ‘Beautiful, Heartfelt’
Ghostbusters co-creator Dan Aykroyd, who will be returning to the franchise alongside Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts in Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters 3, has said that this new script is "a beautiful, heartfelt script that takes the real DNA from the first two movies and transfers that directly to the third, the next generation."
As reported by Comicbook.com, Aykroyd spoke fondly of the new Ghostbusters on The Greg Hill Show that also happens to be a direct sequel to the original films.
Mural Honoring YouTuber Etika Created by Fans in New York
A mural commemorating Nintendo YouTuber Desmond “Etika” Amofah has gone up in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. The 29-year old YouTuber died by suicide in June this year.
As reported by Kotaku, the mural project was planned by YouTuber “Double-A” and New York web designer Abe Hunter who were both fans of Amofah’s. “We all miss him. We all love him,” Double-A told Kotaku.
The mural, which depicts Amofah and Nintendo symbols like the Super Smash Bros. logo and a pair of Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons (Amofah’s fans called themselves JoyConBoyz). The mural also features one of Amofah’s catchphrases: “Take care of yourself. Have yourself a damn good one!”

The wait for Kojima Production's Death Stranding is finally over, and fan reactions to this unique, existential delivery simulator are starting to roll in.
Predictably, the responses to its first few hours have been mixed, whether they be from Reddit, IGN commenters, or even Metacritic user reviews - many of which are attempting to review bomb the game into oblivion.
One prominent r/Games Reddit thread shows a diverse range of reactions, from both Metal Gear fans and Kojima newcomers. Some players are praising its story and entertainment value, while others are criticizing its relatively slow pacing.
