WWE Survivor Series: Was NXT Able to Triumph Over RAW and SmackDown?

It's RAW vs. SmackDown vs. -- new to the PPV, making Survivor Series actually interesting for the first time in years -- NXT!

Becky Lynch will face Bayley AND Shayna Baszler! AJ Styles will square off against Shinsuke Nakamura AND Roderick Strong. Plus, the tag tag team champions from each brand will clash! There will be a men's and a women's triple team elimination war! It's going to be nuts.

WWE has a lot to prove here. Not only are they surrounded on all sides by the likes of AEW, ROH, NJPW, IMPACT, and the NWA, but they need to show they can have a big PPV, using most of NXT's roster, and not completely f*** it up. This is a big ask!

After all, NXT just held their TakeOver: WarGames PPV last night and, while it's nothing new to say that an NXT TakeOver is a pitch perfect mix of wrestling, story, commentary, and overall packaging, this TakeOver was actually tethered to WWE's current ongoing story. It was like "Part 1" of a two-night showcase of NXT's supremacy. Just the fact that most every participant in the two WarGames matches are also competing at Survivor Series speaks freaking volumes. Adam Cole's going to die, isn't he? He's the gloriously overworked MVP of this entire month.

Joker is Close to Becoming the Biggest DC Movie Ever

We all know Todd Phillips' Joker has broken all types of box office records. It's not only the most profitable comic book movie of all time, it's the top grossing R-rated movie in history.

BUT...it's still not the top performing DC movie. No, that title's still being held by James Wan's Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa, which opened in December last year and went on to gross, globally, over a billion bucks.

Joker's over a billion now too, so it's hot on the heels of Aquaman, ready to become DC's clown king of crime.
