Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter Free for November Games with Gold
Another month, another round of free games on Xbox Games With Gold. One of November’s big draws is Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter.
Released in 2002, Jedi Starfighter bridges the gap between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. Set before and during the Battle of Geonosis, Jedi Starfighter tells the tale of Jedi Adi Gallia, who’s tasked with investigating Trade Federation activity in the Karthakk system, all from the seat of the recognizable Jedi starfighter ship.
We loved Jedi Starfighter back when it was released, giving it a 9 out of 10 in our review, despite some recycled gameplay tropes from the earlier Star Wars: Starfighter.

Sony has officially sold and shipped 102.8 million PlayStation 4 units, making it the second best-selling home console of all time.

When adding handheld gaming devices, PlayStation 4 is in fourth spot, closing on the Game Boy/Game Boy Color's 118.69 million units and the Nintendo DS family at 154.02 million.

The Conjuring Creators Developing LaLaurie Mansion Horror Franchise
Chad and Carey Hayes, the creators of the highly successful Conjuring universe, are developing a brand new horror franchise based on the infamous LaLaurie Mansion in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Deadline reports that the Hayes brothers are teaming up with the recently-established production company Faster Horse Pictures to produce the planned series of films, which will be built around one of the most notorious haunted houses in the world.
The outlet notes that the building, now a popular tourist attraction, was once home to Madame Delphine LaLaurie, a socialite and serial killer who tortured and murdered several slaves in the early 1800s. Her crimes were later exposed in a house fire, but she fled the scene and evaded prosecution.
Amazon Fire TV Cube Review
Amazon’s second-generation Fire TV Cube (See it on Amazon) looks identical to the original Cube but under the hood it adds a speedier processor, along with support for local Amazon Alexa voice control, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision if your 4K TV supports such AV niceties. It also now includes the YouTube app, a sizable omission from last year’s Cube. Rolling an Echo smart speaker and a Fire TV streaming stick into one streaming box provides hands-free, Alexa-powered ease for controlling your entire home theater setup -- TV, speakers, cable box, and more -- but you still won’t want to lose the included Fire TV remote.
