Studio Ghibli Films Will Exclusively Stream on HBO Max
HBO Max has officially acquired U.S. streaming rights to Studio Ghibli films, meaning that Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Academy Award-winning Spirited Away, and many more will be available when WarnerMedia's new streaming service launches in the spring of 2020.
Japan's Studio Ghibli has become one of the most influential and acclaimed studios in the world since it was founded in 1985, and "under the brilliance of visionary animation directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, and producer Toshio Suzuki, the studio’s films have won countless international awards, including an Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature for Spirited Away, as well as four additional Academy Award® nominations for Howl’s Moving Castle, The Wind Rises, The Tale of The Princess Kaguya, and When Marnie Was There."
Watchmen’s Damon Lindelof Is Pretty Sure Alan Moore Cursed Him
HBO's Watchmen series is about to make its debut, and according to showrunner Damon Lindelof, Watchmen co-creator Alan Moore is less than thrilled. In fact, Lindelof thinks Moore may have actually cast a magical curse on him. Yes, really.
In an interview with Vulture, Lindelof reveals, "I’m about to say something very ridiculous, but in all sincerity, I was absolutely convinced that there was a magical curse placed upon me by Alan. I’m actually feeling the psychological effects of a curse, and I’m OK with it. It’s fair that he has placed a curse on me."

The Mudita Pure is the Radiation Anti-Phone We Could All Use
Earlier last month Michał Kiciński, the co-founder of CD Projekt Red, introduced a phone designed to help you relax and disconnect called Mudita Pure. It takes a very different direction from modern smartphones and it’s arguably more apt to call it the anti-phone as it’s not connected to the Internet and it even has a physical switch that disables your cell connection.
We caught up with Kiciński to find out why his phone breaks away the always-connected mentality of our world today. Kiciński started by talking about how the idea for the phone came to him while he was skiing in the Italian mountains of Livigno.
Genesis Aladdin’s ‘Final Cut’ Mode Explained
When Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King was announced, the list of games included something called "Disney’s Aladdin Final Cut." We knew the Final Cut was a reworking of the classic SEGA Genesis game, but until now, we didn't know the extent of the changes. IGN scored the first footage (above) along with an exclusive interview (below) that answers some of our questions about just what Final Cut is.
In short, Disney's Aladdin Final Cut includes new areas, boss patterns, graphical effects (check out the cool sword strike flashes in the video every time you clash with an enemy), and other changes that were made after consulting the original 1990s development team.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – The Final Preview
I’ll spare you the history lesson, but Star Wars fans looking for a lengthy single-player Star Wars game, or really even a finished, released, and not canceled single-player Star Wars game haven't exactly had the most satisfying decade. I’m not reminding you of that to depress you, though. I’m reminding you of that because after playing three hours of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, I can confidently state that there is finally some real, tangible hope that a full-fledged single-player Star Wars game is here. One that has no multiplayer or microtransactions or loot crates or season passes. Really. Seriously. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a real, actual single-player Star Wars video game that I have actually played extensively and it’s actually coming out soon. A new hope indeed. So, how does it play?

Pokemon Sword and Shield: The Final Preview of the Series’s Most Ambitious Game
Leon, the champion of the Galar region, stands before a cheering crowd and Charizard appears in all its Gen 1 glory before panning up to the title screen. Pokemon Sword and Shield have a grand opening with enough excitement and electricity to make me want to cheer too. After all, this is the first mainline Pokemon title to ever appear on a console. Expectations are high and its unique introduction sets the stage for what’s to come.
Of course, you’re no champion yet. Cut to the lavish garden outside your quaint house and it’s clear you have a long way to go before anyone’s cheering your name. I played the first 90 minutes of Pokemon Shield. Even though my adventure was barely beginning, I already felt like I had an interesting number of ways to spend my time and each option was as enticing as the last. From challenging and rewarding Max Raid Battles to new ways to train and bond with my Pokemon, Pokemon Sword and Shield are set up to be the most ambitious game in the series.

Fortnite’s New Map Leaked Weeks Ago But Everyone Thought It Was Fake
When Fortnite imploded and then rebirthed from the ashes this week with a new map, the world went crazy. But it turns out that same map leaked in September - and no one cared.
The fresh island introduced in Fortnite Chapter 2 was posted to the r/fortnitecompetitive Reddit by someone claiming to be friends with an Epic employee. According to Eurogamer, the post has since been deleted but contained location names, a Battle Bus route, and a clear picture of the map's layout.
Unfortunately the internet believed it to be a hoax, and the post was downvoted into obscurity. Suspicious Redditors branded it "fake news" - why would Fortnite nuke the iconic map it had used for ten seasons? The "leaked" map could easily have been yet another drawing from an overactive fan's imagination.
