Every IGN WWE Game Review
Do you smell what IGN is cookin'?
It's actually our review for WWE 2K20, the code for which we received late this year. I'm hard at work going through the game's plethora of modes while dropping elbows, legs, heads, and all sorts of other body parts in the name of sports entertainment. I'll have the review up as soon as I'm humanly able, but in the meantime, check out what IGN critics have thought of all of the WWE games throughout the years, from the storied Smackdown vs Raw series, to the current WWE 2K series, and everything before and in between.
Original Assassin’s Creed Director Apologizes for Towers
Patrice Désilet, the director of the first two Assassin’s Creed games, has jokingly apologized for introducing the much-mocked tower climbing mechanic to video games.
Talking at EGLX in Toronto, Désilet answered a question that asked if he was happy with being known as the “Assassin’s Creed guy”.
“A little bit! If you’re going to spend years on something I hope that happens,” he answered, reports Destructoid. “Breath of the Wild, wow! That was a game where you could do anything, once you finished the first half hour or so. Now, you’re going to just climb towers and unfog the rest of the map. Sorry – it’s my fault!”

How Marvel’s Avengers’ Gear Works
A big part of Marvel’s Avengers will be gear; it is a game with several Destiny vibes, afterall. So far, though, developer Crystal Dynamics has been coy with the details. Eager to learn a little more, IGN attended EGX 2019 in London, where Virgin Media held the UK’s first play of Marvel’s Avengers. There we were able to chat with Crystal Dynamics co-studio head Scot Amos about gear and character appearances.
Take a look at how Ms. Marvel works in the latest Avengers trailer below.
“Gear comes in all kinds of rarities, from common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, and even beyond,” Amos explains (We're placing bets now that ‘beyond’ is Excelsior rarity).
Why Edward Norton Passed on Avatar 2 for Alita: Battle Angel
Edward Norton has revealed that he turned down a role in Avatar 2 because of his desire to be cast in a particular part.
In an interview with Total Film, Norton opened up about his cameo in Alita: Battle Angel, saying that he was first approached to appear in James Cameron's Avatar sequel but ultimately refused the role, as he either wanted to be a "Na'vi or nothing."

The description of the book reads: “Featuring over 500 artworks from Diablo, Diablo II, Diablo III and Diablo IV, this book features many noteworthy artworks created for Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic action RPG.”

Was That the Owlship on HBO’s Watchmen?
Spoilers follow for the first episode of HBO’s Watchmen.
The Owlship is one of the coolest pieces of technology in the original Watchmen. The brainchild of Dan Dreiberg, a.k.a. the second Nite Owl, the ship -- called Archimedes, or Archie for short -- was seemingly ahead of its time, with its hover and underwater capabilities, various weapons, and of course onboard coffee machine! And now that same technology has shown up on HBO’s Watchmen, and indeed was spotted by some fans in the trailers for the show as well. But the question is, is it the Owlship?
In a word, no.
The new version of the Owlship and the original from the graphic novel.
