Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney Plus Series Finds Its Director
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ has reportedly secured Deborah Chow as a director.
The Hollywood Reporter doesn't know if Chow will direct part of the show or the entire series, which is said to be less than ten episodes. All that's been confirmed for the series is that prequel trilogy actor Ewan McGregor is back and the show takes place eight years after Revenge of the Sith.
Chow directed episodes of some of the most popular and critically acclaimed TV shows of the past few years: Better Call Saul, Fear the Walking Dead, Mr. Robot, Jessica Jones and American Gods. Chow also directed two of the eight episodes of the first season of The Mandalorian.
Here’s Everything You Need to Know From Oculus Connect 6
Facebook held the Oculus Connect 6 event this week to show off some of the new developments happening in its virtual reality product segment. While much of the event focused on future hardware and software changes that would mostly concern VR developers, there was a fair amount of info to excite current and prospective VR users.
Many of the biggest announcements centered around features coming to Oculus’s existing hardware in the near future. Some will come in a matter of days, while others are slated for 2020. The key to all of them is that they will dramatically enhance the experience available to users without needing to get a new VR headset, supposing you already have an Oculus Quest.

While Tom Holland's response to the news is unbeatable, here are some of the funniest, most joyful responses to Spidey's return.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Dev Asks Fans to Consider Developers in Wake of Outrage
Infinity Ward studio art director Joel Emslie is appealing to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community for some civility following a volatile week of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare announcements and rumors. Particularly over a yearlong PlayStation 4 exclusive and rumored microtransactions.
“Take a second and think about who on the production side comes to this sub and reads through the comments, IW Dev,” Emslie writes “We all have a pretty thick skin here but yeah it can kind of get to you.”
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community has been reacting to news that the Special Ops Survival Mode will be a yearlong exclusive to the PlayStation 4. Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki explained online that the decision to make Special Ops Survival Mode a console exclusive as “above all our pay grades,” but that hasn’t calmed down the internet discourse.

Apex Legends Gets a New Map Called ‘World’s Edge’
Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment’s surprise-hit battle royale set in the Titanfall universe, is getting a brand new map dubbed ‘World’s Edge.’
Respawn debuted a new trailer for Apex Legends season 3, which featured not only the new map and some of its various biomes and locations, but also new legend Crypto and his hacking and drone abilities.
From the trailer, we can glean that World’s Edge will have some significantly different biomes than its predecessor, King’s Canyon. There’s what appears to be a giant ice drill sticking up out of the ground, it’s mid-section covered in a giant series of ice spikes. There’s a sort of magma biome, clearly stemming from a nearby volcano, and even adrenaline junkie Octane gets some sick air off of steam vents bursting open and throwing him into the sky.

Here’s What Untitled Goose Game Was Almost Called
House House's Untitled Goose Game not having a title is such a big part of its brand, that it's hard to believe there was ever a title being considered for the game at all. But IGN has learned that one title may have had the slimmest chance of becoming the name for the indie Goose stealth sim.
“We really did intend to come up with something!” House House developer Stuart Gillespie-Cook tells IGN over email. “We’d always just called it ‘goose game’ internally, but when we had to upload footage of it for a festival, we wanted to make it clear that wasn’t the final name, so we put it up as Untitled Goose Game. We didn’t intend for that to be the name of the game, but it really stuck, and we never found anything we liked more.”
