19 of the Most Spoilery Movie Trailers Ever

The latest trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker included a shocking look at protagonist Rey (Daisy Ridley) sporting a decidedly Dark Side look and wielding a folding red light saber. The reaction was predictably intense, with some fans complaining that showing this apparent twist amounted to an unforgivable spoiler -- even though it could really be anything and it's part of Disney's marketing campaign.

What Made Robert Pattinson ‘Furious’ About Batman Casting News

Robert Pattinson has finally commented on taking over the role of Batman. As he explains, he was "furious" with the way the news broke online.

Pattinson told Variety the initial casting rumor was a bit premature, as he hadn't actually auditioned for The Batman at that point. Worse, he feared the rumor might harm his chances of eventually landing the role.

“When that thing leaked, I was f—ing furious,” Pattinson told Variety. “Everyone was so upset. Everyone was panicking from my team. I sort of thought that had blown up the whole thing.”

Fortunately, that leak didn't wind up costing Pattinson the job. Nor is he particularly concerned about the backlash from Batman fans who don't want the former Twilight star to take up the cape and cowl. “To be honest, it was less vitriolic than I was expecting,” he said. “It’s much more fun when you’re an underdog. There’s no expectation of you.”

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: 6-Hour Hands-On Preview Impressions

Before I sat down to play several hours of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, community developer Grace Orlady set the stage: “We want to make the player live the life of an elite special forces hunter,” she said. Well, I’m pretty sure real special forces don’t stare down former allies turned maniacal supervillains on private islands overrun by weaponized drones, but...well, if they did I suppose we’d never know about it. So sure, let’s go with it!

Let’s get this out of the way so we can move on to more important stuff: Breakpoint’s story, based on what I’ve seen so far, is going to be laughably bad. Ex-Punisher Jon Bernthal is an ex-Ghost-turned-Wolf, and it seems chock full of all the usual cliches: good guys turning bad, friends turning against each other, etc. But forget about that because it’s not why you’re going to play Breakpoint: the super chill, open-ended structure of the game is.

Exclusive Spider-Man: Far From Home Deleted Scene!

Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives on Digital on September 17 and on Blu-ray on October 1, but you can watch one of the scenes that didn't make it into the final MCU Spidey movie right here and now.

In the deleted scene dubbed "Peter's To-Do List", which you watch in the player above, Tom Holland's Peter Parker visits a passport agency to pick up his passport for his class trip to Europe. But there's a long line and Peter's impatient so he relies on some Stark tech to cheat the line.

Peter uses his cell phone to pilot the Spider-Drone from his suit out of his backpack to a nearby clerk's window. We watch the Spider-Drone fly under the window, scatter across the desk, and turn the sign above the clerk's window from closed to open.
