Warner Bros. Responds to Aurora Families Over Joker Movie Fears
Warner Bros. issued a response Tuesday to a letter from the families of the victims of the 2012 mass shooting at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado who are asking Warners to advocate for gun safety ahead of Joker's release
The studio’s statement says: “Gun violence in our society is a critical issue, and we extend our deepest sympathy to all victims and families impacted by these tragedies. Our company has a long history of donating to victims of violence, including Aurora, and in recent weeks, our parent company joined other business leaders to call on policymakers to enact bi-partisan legislation to address this epidemic. At the same time, Warner Bros. believes that one of the functions of storytelling is to provoke difficult conversations around complex issues. Make no mistake: neither the fictional character Joker, nor the film, is an endorsement of real-world violence of any kind. It is not the intention of the film, the filmmakers or the studio to hold this character up as a hero.”
MLB The Show 19 is Free on PlayStation Plus in October
Sony announced that MLB the Show 19 will be free on PlayStation Plus at an unspecified time in October. Sony made the announcement as part of its September State of Play presentation.

The Last of Us 2 Will be Released On February 21, 2020
During today's PlayStation State of Play, Naughty Dog confirmed The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on February 21, 2020.
After years of waiting, Naughty Dog finally announced the release date for The Last of Us Part 2 alongside the first reveal of Joel, who had yet to be seen in previous looks at this much anticipated sequel.
Take a look below at brand new gameplay and our first look at Joel in The Last of Us 2 release date trailer!
The trailer once again focuses on Ellie, and we get another look at some of the new and old characters she will be interacting with, as well as new gameplay in this brutal world.
Also revealed were The Last of Us 2's Standard Edition, Special Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Collector's Edition, and Ellie Edition, which can be pre-ordered now. The Ellie Edition, which will cost $249.99 USD, comes packaged with a 12" Ellie statue, a recreation of Ellile's backpack, and so much more.

Death Stranding Limited Edition PS4 Pro Announced
UPDATE: The Death Stranding PS4 Pro Limited Edition is available for preorder at Best Buy.
During Sony's State of Play announcement event it revealed a new, special edition Death Stranding PS4 Pro and controller bundle.

The bundle comes out day and date with Death Stranding on November 8, and includes special edition PS4 Pro decorated with the black handprints shown over the course of development, as well as a translucent yellow DualShock 4 controller with Death Stranding logo on the touch pad.
Death Stranding game play shown off during Tokyo Game Show gave us a better understanding of the game itself, while at the same time, keeping us slightly confused, as is the way of Kojima.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Finally Gets a Campaign Trailer
Infinity Ward revealed the first official trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's campaign mode. The focus of the video was on Captain Price as he tracks down a dangerous chemical weapon that has fallen into the hands of a terrorist group. The trailer premiered during PlayStation's State of Play livestream.
This is the first look at the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign since Infinity Ward revealed the reboot earlier this year. there are several returning faces, as well as some new ones. One new character in Modern Warfare is Farah Karim, a freedom fighter who grew up in a fictional middle eastern country.

Civilization 6 Announced For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles on November 22. With this, Civilization 6 will be available on every major home console.
Civilization 6 will be available for $59.99, but if you want all the expansions, you’ll have to purchase a separate Civilization 6 Expansion Bundle for $49.99. This bundle includes the Civilization 6 Rise and Fall expansion, Gathering Storm expansion, and 18 additional leaders.
The Civilization 6 Expansion Bundle will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch as well. The expansion bundle will be the same price on the Nintendo Switch.
Civilization 6 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will also include four additional content packs for Poland, Vikings, Australia, and Persia and Macedonia. PlayStation 4 users will also the the Nubia and Khmer and Indonesia scenario pack with the purchase of Civilization 6 on consoles. These packs will be available separately on Xbox One.
