Spider-Man 3 Still Happening Despite Sony/Disney Split
Sony and Marvel may have parted ways, but that's apparently not stopping progress on a sequel to Spider-Man: Far From Home. Deadline reports (via CBR) that Far From Home writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are still working on the screenplay for a third solo Spider-Man movie featuring Tom Holland's Peter Parker.
But while the writers and star of the previous two Spider-Man movies seem to still be on board, director Jon Watts is another matter entirely. According to Deadline, Watts has no current deal in place and is being courted by both Marvel Studios and Sony following the two studios' breakdown in negotiations this week. Should Watts elect to keep working with producer Kevin Feige and stay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony will have to find a new director to continue this Spider-Man series.
Every Fire Emblem: Three Houses Character Ranked by Dateability
The characters of Fire Emblem: Three Houses are probably the most important factor of the game, and the tea parties you have with them certainly one of the most popular. Rather than argue like uncivilized co-workers, we held a tea party of our own to rank every character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses by dateability! Watch the video above to see exactly why we rated each character the way we did and which house won the honor of being most dateable, or click through the slide-show for a quick run down.

Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington Reportedly Joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, known for his role as Jon Snow on the HBO hit series, will soon be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according report from Deadline.
The report is thin on details and simply says that Deadline’s Mike Fleming Jr. heard Harington will join the MCU in some fashion but there is currently no word on what film he would join. Fleming does note that he wouldn’t be surprised if some details are revealed by the end of the weekend. With Disney’s D23 Expo 2019 currently underway, it’s possible we may learn the nature of Harington’s role there.
IGN has reached out to Harington's representatives as well as Disney for comment and will update this story with any further details we learn.
Disney+ Series The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Explained by Jeff Goldblum
Trying to get a straight answer out of Jeff Goldblum is no small feat, and neither is trying to get clear information from him about his upcoming Disney+ series, NatGeo's The World According to Jeff Goldblum.
The D23 Expo panel for the upcoming show proved to be 30 minutes of asides, anecdotes and segues (including whether or not Goldblum has a tattoo. Does he? After five minutes of audience speculation, he ultimately wouldn't reveal). But throughout it all, Goldblum's explanation of what the intriguingly titled World According to Jeff Goldblum is proves to be the most Goldblum-worthy idea ever.
Ms. Marvel Series Reportedly in the Works for Disney+
A new Disney+ series is in the works featuring Ms. Marvel, according to THR. They say it will be based on the acclaimed, award-winning comic series starring Kamala Khan, who takes inspiration from Captain Marvel to become Ms. Marvel. The comic, originally spearheaded by Muslim writer G. Willow Wilson, is notable for featuring Marvel’s first headlining Muslim hero.
As Ms. Marvel, Kamala’s powers revolve around shapeshifting, allowing her to stretch, “embiggen,” and temporarily shapeshift. She has origins as an Inhuman in the comics.
THR notes that “No timetable has been set for the show and it unclear whether the show will fit into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.” British writer Bisha K. Ali will reportedly write and act as showrunner. Ali is a comedian who is currently a staff writer on Hulu’s remake of Four Weddings and a Funeral.
Wasteland 3’s Giant Car is My Favorite Party Member
Trading in the dusty barrens of Arizona and the like for the snow-swept passages of Colorado, Wasteland 3's apocalyptic vision may not be the prettiest looking role-playing tactical game out there, but it is looking a whole lot sleeker and more detailed than its predecessor. Instead of moving a dot on a line across a barren map, I was able to snowplow an armored transport vehicle through winding sleet-heavy roads before finding the target of my objective: an old resort turned into a base filled with drugged up psychopaths. My job was to find their leader - Victory Buchanan - and take him out.
In my first combat experience going hands-on with Wasteland 3's demo that went out to backers this week (the full experience should arrive sometime in Spring 2020), I was given four different characters to control: My main character, Banshee the sniper, Doc Nails the medic, and Scotchmo the shotgun-toting alcoholic. Each had a specialized role to fill that made them instantly unique from the others, like Scotchmo's shotgun displaying a large cone of fire instead of targeting single opponents. The overhead view of the arena seamlessly transitioned from exploration into a grid-based map featuring a much more slick and streamlined interface than we've seen in Wasteland 2. I was a bit sloppy entering the fight, and had to rush to find cover after taking fire that felt very reminiscent of X-COM's tactical battles (even featuring their own version of ambushing overwatch strikes that could activate during an enemy's movement). I appreciated all the clever visual cues - like being able to see my movement range with different colored borders marking how far I could run and still have action points leftover to shoot. I was also happy to find that you could swap between characters on the fly during your turn, rather than having to fully complete a character's action one after other, which meant new strategic opportunities for setting up attacks.
Kylo Ren Still Has Darth Vader’s Helmet in New Footage From Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
During the Disney Legends ceremony at D23 Expo 2019, a sizzle reel of upcoming Disney projects showed off some new footage from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
The footage starts with a shot from the initial teaser of Kylo Ren giving a Rock Bottom to a black-garbed figure in a forest. Then we get our first new bit of footage as Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron repels from atop a spaceship inside a large hangar, followed by a shot of him inside a command center.
We see another shot from the first teaser, this time of Daisy Ridley’s Rey standing in the desert. Then we get a quick cut to John Boyega’s Finn standing inside a structure with daylight shining in from above as Rey tell him, “It’s too dangerous.” Then we see the pair talking in the same shot and Rey continues and says, “I have to go alone.”
