Henry Cavill Has Played The Witcher 3 Multiple Times
Netflix’s the Witcher officially has a trailer, but if you want to hear the behind-the-scenes thoughts of actor Henry Cavill, showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, and more, you’ve come to the right place. The cast and Hissrich joined IGN to discuss the making of the show, as well as what similarities the show has to the best-selling RPG games.
“For me personally, it'd be like playing another run of the Witcher 3 but with a completely different skin on,” Cavill told IGN. “That I think would be interesting. I've played it through a number of times now, and it's like OK, cool, I've done it, I've seen, and I still get that enjoyment of playing it through, but what if I could play it slightly differently. Then yeah, this is kind of what it is for me when you're doing the show. Yes, it's Geralt of Rivia, the Witcher, but he looks like me now. For me, that's an interesting thing. It creates a freshness to it, because the themes are still very similar.”
Amazon Renews The Boys for Season 2
Just days ahead of the series premiere of The Boys, Amazon has renewed this dark superhero series for a second season.
The news was revealed at the show's Comic-Con panel this afternoon. Executive producer Seth Rogen revealed that the cast and crew flew down to San Diego from Toronto, where filming is well underway on Season 2. "We’re literally halfway through filming the second season," said Rogen.
Amazon is also confirming that Aya Cash (You're the Worst) will be joining the cast in Season 2 as the character Stormfront.
Little else was revealed about Season 2, apart from executive producer Eric Kripke teasing a very Billy Joel-heavy soundtrack in contrast to Season 1's punk-centric score. Instead, the panelists reflected on their characters and the fact that the series, despite featuring superheroes, is very much grounded in our current reality."
Rick and Morty Creator’s New Series Will Be ‘Really Violent’ and ‘Very Sweet’
Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland brought his new animated series Solar Opposites to Comic-Con today, the story of a family of aliens “from a better world” who wind up living in Middle America.
Voice actors Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs) and Mary Mack (Golan the Insatiable) and executive producers Mike McMahan (Rick and Morty) and Josh Bycel (Happy Endings) were also on hand to offer up an exclusive first look at the series, which comes to Hulu in 2020.
SpongeBob SquarePants himself, Tom Kenny, moderated the panel, and opened with the obvious question: What is this thing?
“The show is basically
a family -- a group of aliens. Their home planet gets destroyed and they have to flee,” said Roiland, adding that it’s basically an immigrant story but from the viewpoint of aliens.

The Walking Dead Season 10 Trailer Teases the Whisperer War
The cast and producers of The Walking Dead hit the Hall H stage at Comic-Con to tease the upcoming tenth season, which will go deep into the Whisperer War from Robert Kirkman's comics. The premiere date for The Walking Dead Season 10 is October 6.
"I'm excited in Season 10 because we're finding new ways to explore the story," said showrunner Angela Kang. "We're getting into a whole different style of war than the last time ... the Whisperers are a really different type of enemy, so we'll see what it's like to be in a Whisperer War."
Robert Kirkman addressed his surprising decision to end the Walking Dead comics and what it means for the future of the TV series. "The comic book is something very special to me, and over the life of it you could see how it became Rick Grimes' story and Carl Grimes' story, and that story came to a natural end point," Kirkman said. "But this show is about the world and we've proven that with the last season. So anyone concerned that Season 10 will surprise end with episode 4... it won't. There's a lot more story to tell, I'm very excited to work with Angela and Scott
First Rick and Morty Season 4 Footage Revealed
Update: A second clip was shown at the end of the Rick and Morty panel, one which isn't being released online.
This clip, which was said to be a cold-opening to a Season 4 episode, was much longer but still in rough animatic form. It begins with Jerry attempting to hang Christmas lights and, in true Jerry fashion, falling off the ladder to his near death. Luckily, Rick is able to blast him with a ray that makes Jerry's body lighter than air and his shoes heavier, achieving perfect buoyancy and giving Jerry ten hours in which to enjoy his new bounce powers.
From there, Rick and Morty head into space on another adventure, until Rick's ship gets a flat tire. He orders Morty to stay inside the ship, but the defiant Morty disobeys and winds up being bitten by a space snake. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Veronica Mars Season 4 is Streaming on Hulu a Week Early
Hulu has announced that the new season of Veronica Mars is streaming a week early. Instead of waiting until July 26 for the new season, Veronica Mars fans can see the full eight-episode season on Hulu right now.
Veronica Mars Season 4 sees the eponymous character (played by Kristen Bell) return to her home city of Neptune, CA where she now works with her dad as a private investigator. The homecoming goes awry when a series of bombings terrorize the city.
The fourth season sees Mars embracing her detective role professionally, a path she first started in high school when she took it upon herself to find out who murdered her best friend Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried).
Veronica Mars originally ran for three seasons, first on UPN then The CW, before the series ended in 2007. The series combined the noir detective genre with a high school setting, except in Season 3 when the series followed Mars to college. Series creator Rob Thomas later successfully funded a Veronica Mars feature film on Kickstarter, and the Veronica Mars movie was released in 2014.
