Two Point Hospital Will Land on Consoles This Christmas
Two Point Hospital has been prescribed for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with a late 2019 release date penciled in.
The game initially launched for PC, but when Two Point Hospital lands on consoles later this year it will be "fully rebuilt for console gaming," according to a press release from Publisher SEGA. PC updates like being able to customise room and character designs are being included in the console release, along with copy-paste functionality for room layouts.
The console version will also include Two Point Hospital's Bigfoot and Pebberley Island expansions, which means there'll be a host of new hospitals and climate-based diseases for players to content with, as well as the original features included in the base game.
Quentin Tarantino’s Star Trek Movie Is Set in the ‘Chris Pine Timeline’
Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that his Star Trek movie will take place in what he refers to as the "Chris Pine timeline."
The influential filmmaker recently sat down with MTV's Happy Sad Confused podcast to talk about his current and future projects. Over the course of the conversation, he opened up about the script for his much-discussed Star Trek movie, revealing that it will take place somewhere within the Kelvin timeline, the same universe in which 2009's Star Trek, 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness, and 2016's Star Trek Beyond reside.
Team Rocket Join Pokémon Go and Introduce Two New Types
A new Pokémon Go update has brought Team Rocket to your neighbourhood, alongside two new Pokémon types: Shadow and Purified.
Some PokéStops are now blackened and guarded by a Team Rocket grunt who players can fight. Win, and they'll leave behind their Shadow Pokémon. These sad creatures are a corrupted type, made after ordinary Pokémon are forced into doing bad things that eventually close off their souls.
Thankfully, once you've beaten three of a grunt's Pokémon in PVE combat, you can capture their Shadow Pokémon. To do this you'll need to use a Premier Ball (like in a raid) and "purify" the creature back to normality afterwards using Stardust or Candy. You could also keep them in their Shadow state, if you're the sort of person that pulls legs off flies.
James Gunn Confirms Thor 4 Is Set Prior to Guardians of the Galaxy 3
Director James Gunn has confirmed that the events of Thor: Love and Thunder will take place prior to those of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in the MCU timeline.
The filmmaker posted a congratulatory message on Instagram, commending the entire team behind Avengers: Endgame for surpassing Avatar’s $2.79 billion box office earnings to become the highest-grossing movie of all time. The comments section was largely flooded with similar celebratory sentiments, however, one fan took the opportunity to ask whether Thor 4 would take place before or after Guardians 3, and Gunn simply replied, "Before."
How Marvel’s Phase 4 Shapes the MCU’s Future
Marvel Studios revealed its entire Phase 4 schedule at San Diego Comic Con 2019, but unlike Phase Three that showed a gradual progression of projects that were clearly building to the climax of what we now call The Infinity Saga, Marvel’s Phase Four is decidedly more scattershot. Television series are part of an official Marvel Studios slate for the first time courtesy of Disney+, new franchises like Eternals and Shang-Chi are promising wholly different experiences from what we’ve seen before, and most alarmingly, there’s no Avengers film in the lineup.
Without an installment of their premiere property, what is Marvel’s new game plan? Evidently, it’s to break their established mold, because this new slate indicates they intend to capitalize on their domination of the pop culture landscape by experimenting not just with some of their weirdest characters but also with a new structure where each project can be freed from the expectation of being part of a phase’s overall arc.

How Satoru Iwata Saved Earthbound from Development Hell
To this day, Earthbound is a beloved classic that belongs in any “Best RPGs of all time” list – but without help from the late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, it might have never been finished.
Iwata-san, a book recently published in Japan by Earthbound creator Shigesato Itoi’s company Hobonichi, tells the story of Satoru Iwata’s life, mostly through his own words. While he passed away on July 11 in 2015, the book is a rearrangement of interviews with Iwata that were published on Itoi’s website Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun. The book also includes new interviews with Shigeru Miyamoto and Shigesato Itoi on how they remember Iwata.
Doctor Strange 2 Director Already Told Us His Pick for the Villain
The Internet was rife with speculation about who the villain of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could be after Marvel Studios announced the sequel at Comic-Con Saturday.
But director Scott Derrickson already told IGN who he wanted the sequel's villain to be way back in 2016: Nightmare, a classic Doctor Strange nemesis right in line with the veteran horror helmer's hope of making "the first scary MCU movie."
Shigeru Miyamoto Opens Up in New Book about Missing Late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata
The relationship between Shigeru Miyamoto and late Nintendo President Satoru Iwata was a personal one.
Iwata-san, a book published today in Japan by Hobonichi, includes a new interview with Mario creator Miyamoto on how he remembers Iwata, who passed away in 2015. A similar interview with Shigesato Itoi, the creator of Earthbound and founder of Hobonichi, is included as well.
“To me, he was a friend more than anything,” Miyamoto says. “It never felt like he was my boss or that I was working under him. He never got angry; we never fought about anything.”
Miyamaoto says it was never a point of friction that Iwata, who was seven years Miyamoto’s junior, became his boss. “Normally, if someone younger than yourself with fewer years of experience becomes president, it might be difficult to get along with each other, but it was never like that. It had always been obvious that he was more suited for the position (than me), so it never became a problem. I think it allowed us to naturally become true friends.”
Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman Are Discussing Kill Bill: Volume 3
Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman have recently discussed the idea of Kill Bill: Volume 3.
Tarantino was asked about making another Kill Bill movie during his appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast to promote his upcoming movie. As it turns out, Tarantino recently discussed making another Kill Bill movie with Thurman.
"...me and Uma have been actually
talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it, but I have thought about it a little further," Tarantino said at the 33 minute mark. "And if any of my movies would be taken -- me and Uma were literally were
