The Red Dead Redemption 2 DLC Leak Is Fake, How an Online Prank Went out of Hand
A Red Dead Redemption 2 leak about an alien-themed DLC began spreading online over the weekend. But today, the originator of the leak confessed that it was all a lie, posted to see how easily rumors can spread online.
On Saturday user u/throwaway11113453 published a supposed “leak” he was told by a Rockstar employee friend of theirs in the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. Although the leak has been removed by the mods, it essentially proposed the following details:
- There is a single-player DLC for Red Dead Redemption 2 in the works centering on Aliens, similar to Red Dead Redemption’s Undead Nightmare DLC.
Here’s What CD Projekt Red Really Said About Religion in Cyberpunk 2077
A Polish interview for Cyberpunk 2077 that was recently translated into English claimed CD Projekt Red would depict real religions in Cyberpunk 2077, even if the depictions were offensive. That translation is inaccurate, and CD Projekt Red has provided a more accurate translation of its answers.
An interview between CD Projekt Red and Polish news site Gry Online WP was recently translated into English on the video game message board NeoGAF.
The Biggest Comic Con News (That Wasn’t Marvel Studios)
This year's Comic-Con proved to be one of the most newsworthy in quite a while, especially thanks to that jam-packed Marvel Studios panel. But this year's show was about more than just new MCU movies and Disney+ shows. We also got closer looks at some of the biggest movie and TV projects of the next year, along with some cool new comics.
From new trailers for Top Gun: Maverick and IT Chapter Two to major panels focused on shows like Rick and Morty, The Witcher and the Arrowverse, here's all the biggest news from Comic-Con that wasn't at the Marvel Studios panel. Check out our slideshow below or scroll down to learn more.
The Witcher First Trailer
The Witcher fans got a much closer look at the upcoming Netflix series at Comic-Con thanks to the debut of a new trailer at Netflix's panel. We also got to chat with star Henry Cavill, who revealed more about how magic will be handled in this fantasy series. "The thing with magic as well, its one of those things which we’re using it as a force which is drawn from. You draw from chaos, and that is explained in Yennefer’s storyline especially, and it manifests in different ways. And you will see it as the audience how it manifests, and some familiar things which players of the game and readers of the books will understand."
Why Comic-Con Was the Best Time to Release Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Marvel, unsurprisingly, dominated San Diego Comic-Con. With its Marvel Studios panel that fully outlined the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 4, and its Marvel Games panel that showed off Marvel’s Avengers footage to fans en masse, the show might as well have been called Marvel’s San Diego Comic-Con 2019. But one of Marvel’s smartest moves didn’t even happen at the show itself — it was the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 that same weekend, timed perfectly to capitalize on the fan fervor of all things Marvel.
Why it’s Time For Video Games to Address Climate Change
Climate change is often seen as a distant problem, a burden for future generations to bear. This comes as no surprise; the sheer scale of destruction that human activity has brought upon the planet since the middle of last century is overwhelming. Earth has heated dramatically. Islands and coastlines have begun to sink into the rising seas. Extreme weather events, such as heatwaves, droughts, wildfires, storms, and floods, have drastically increased in frequency, displacing and taking the lives of thousands of people each year. Ecosystems have begun to collapse. Extinction has become a daily event. And all these problems are accelerating. Right now. The climate future is already upon us.

Blade: Wesley Snipes Responds to Mahershala Ali Casting
While most Blade fans are thrilled to learn Mahershala Ali will be playing the iconic vampire hunter in the MCU, some are disappointed Marvel Studios didn't simply hire Wesley Snipes to reprise the role. But there's one person who isn't upset by the announcement - Snipes himself.
Snipes told TMZ that while he was just as surprised as anyone to learn about Ali's casting, he's not upset about passing the baton (or the silver/titanium alloy sword, as it were). "It's ALL GOOD," said Snipes.
"To all the DAYWALKERS losing their minds right now, Chillaaxx ... Such is the ‘business’ of ‘entertainment!’ Much peace to the MCU crew - always a fan," he continued.
