DC’s Zombie Outbreak Spreads to New DCeased One-Shot
If you were sad when you heard DC’s zombie outbreak event DCeased would just be a six issue mini-series, then we have some good news for you. An upcoming oversized one-shot titled DCeased: A Good Day to Die will tell an additional story set in that world turned mad by a techno-organic rage virus, spearheaded by DCeased writer Tom Taylor and joined by artists Darick Robertson (The Boys) and Laura Braga (DC Comics Bombshells) with more names to come.
"Honestly, as soon as I started writing DCeased, I realized I could write it for years,” Taylor told IGN over email on how this extra DCeased tale came to be. “With the epic scope of this series, there was no way to fit all the characters and all the ideas I had into just six issues. … We had a whole cast of characters whose tale was ending up on the comics cutting room floor. Writing is about killing your darlings, but these were darlings I wasn't even going to get the chance to kill... until the idea of this special was raised by editor Ben Abernathy.”
Not April Fool’s – Razer Announces Respawn Gaming Drink
What started out as an April Fool's joke has now become a reality, as Razer has announced a new branded gaming drink named Respawn. The company has previously pitched a similar beverage in the past as a prank, beginning in 2010 with Project Venom and again in April of 2019 with Venom V2 shown below.
In the previous iteration you drank the fluid then changed its nano capabilities with Razer Synapse, which would actually be cool aside from the brain wiring part, but the actual Respawn drink is a simple beverage that you mix with water for "mental enhancement." Razer takes pains in its press release to make sure it is understood that this is not an energy drink.

LEGO Forza Horizon 4 Is a Thing I Didn’t Know I Needed Until Now
Forza Horizon, more than the excellent-but-far-more-serious Forza Motorsport, has always elicited pure joy. Each Forza Horizon entry is like a 72-degree summer day, complete with a gentle breeze, in video game form. Forza Horizon 4 again took the series to new heights, and it's even trying to one-up the stellar Horizon 3 in the expansion pack department. The third Horizon brought us one of the greatest uses of a license ever in the form of its Hot Wheels add-on, and now Forza Horizon 4 looks to up the ante by giving us LEGO Speed Champions.
The quirky and irresistibly charming LEGO movie-licensed games are made by British studio Traveller's Tales, so perhaps it's no surprise that Horizon 4's LEGO Speed Champions, developed by fellow Brits Playground Games, shares the same sense of humor. It serves Horizon well, from a funny riff on FH4's intro sequence to a smattering of mini cutscenes starring LEGO figurines splashed throughout events.

All News, Trailers, and Gameplay From the Bethesda Press Conference
We knew there would be no Elder Scrolls 6 or Starfield at Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference, but Bethesda still had plenty to show off, including exciting Doom Eternal details and a few brand new games.
Below you'll find a roundup of all the major news, trailers, and gameplay from Bethesda's E3 2019 press conference.
Doom Eternal Release Date, Multiplayer Details, and Collector's Edition Revealed
Doom Eternal is coming November 22. Its multiplayer Battlemode is a 2-vs-1 face-off between two player-controlled demons and one slayer.
Doom Eternal First Hands-On: Skills + Kills = Thrills
Some wise, anonymous Internet philosopher wrote something to this effect after the sublime Doom reboot came out in 2016: “In Dark Souls, you are trapped in a room with monsters. In Doom, monsters are trapped in a room with YOU.” It’s as if the developers at id Software took that to heart, smiled at the corners of their mouth like The Grinch, and decided to even the scales in Doom Eternal (out November 22), even just a bit.
I have played Doom Eternal (on PC), and it relishes in putting the screws to you as you try to fight off dozens of Hell-spawned demonic minions in each encounter. id’s Marty Stratton calls the battles “combat puzzles,” and in my experience, it’s not an unfair assessment. And as in the 2016 game, the solution, Stratton adds, is “to be more aggressive. It’s really designed to challenge you.” Lead designer Hugo Martin laughs and says, “It’s very sadistic.”
Doom Eternal Gets a Release Date, Multiplayer Details
Doom Eternal will be released on November 22, and it's got a 2-on-1 multiplayer mode.
Announced at Bethesda's E3 2019 conference, Doom Eternal will take us to some interesting new places, including Heaven and the Doom Sentinel homeworld.
Also announced was Battlemode, a multiplayer mode that pits two demons against a single Doom Slayer. It's apparently "strategic, competitive and a ton of fun."
A collector's edition was also revealed, including a wearable Doom Slayer helmet alongside a Year One pass (featuring 2 story-based expansions), soundtracks, lore books, a classic weapons sound pack, lithograph and more.
