Tekken X Street Fighter Is ‘Harder to Justify’ After Tekken 7’s Success
Tekken X Street Fighter is “harder to justify releasing” while Tekken 7 is enjoying success as a service game, says series lead Katsuhiro Harada.
Talking to VGC, Harada, who first announced Tekken X Street Fighter back in 2010, said that “Tekken 7 is very successful as a service game with its DLC. That makes it much harder to justify releasing another game, while Tekken 7 is still doing so well.”
“I was excited about
and I have passion for it, but my logical and business thinking has me wondering if I really should do it,” Harada said. With Bandai Namco having just released a ninth DLC pack for Tekken 7, it’s easy to see this conflict in thinking.

7 Ways Borderlands 3 Aims to Stand Out in the Loot Shooter Space
Since Borderlands 2 dropped in 2012, there have been two Destinys, two Divisions, one Warframe and roughly one half of an Anthem (let’s be honest) that have launched and battled it out for the loot shooter crown to varying levels of success (with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel also squeezed into the mix). Yet with the upcoming release of Borderlands 3, the team at Gearbox Software remains confident that it’s packing the right kind of firepower to stand out among what has become an increasingly populated genre in recent years.
“We've always had a pretty strong focus on story and character, which we’re bringing in spades,” says lead enemy designer, Josh Jeffcoat. “But also, we still have more guns than anybody else by an absurd margin. And the things the guns can do is insane; you’re never gonna see that kind of stuff coming from our competitors.”

Get These Gaming Monitors for the Best PC Gaming Experience
Shopping for a gaming monitor used to be a simple affair. At one point every monitor was just rectangular-shaped and ran at 60Hz, so it was just a question of how big of a monitor could you afford and whether you wanted a 1440p display to be extra fancy. Those days are long gone now though.
Today there are almost too many options when looking for a gaming monitor. Now you've got displays that offer high refresh rate, Nvidia G-Sync or AMD FreeSync, 4K resolution, and high-dynamic-range (HDR) as basic features. It's a lot to figure out, and that's without mentioning curved gaming monitors or ultrawide displays, but I’m here to help.
All the Ways the Endgame Trailers Faked Us Out
Warning: Spoilers follow for Avengers: Endgame!
Most new MCU movies are shrouded in secrecy until the day they finally hit theaters. That's been especially true for the latest Avengers sequels. Not only have directors Joe and Anthony Russo done their best to mask the plots of Infinity War and Endgame, but they've also gone so far as to include altered and downright fake footage in the trailers to throw fans off the scent. For instance, the Infinity War trailers had us all believing Hulk would take part in the climactic Battle of Wakanda... and he did not.
Read on for a breakdown of all the footage from Endgame's trailers we found that either didn't make the final cut or was altered.
Lady and the Tramp Remake Will Change Siamese Cat Song
The live-action and CGI adaptation of Lady and the Tramp for Disney+ will feature new songs from Grammy winner Janelle Monae, according to Variety.
Two songs will be performed by Monae, including the reinvention of the controversial song from the 1995 animated film that brought heavy backlash to Disney, The Siamese Cat Song, which will reportedly be remade from her artist collective, Wondaland.
The song was originally recorded by Peggy Lee for the characters of Si and Am, which has long been considered a racist stereotype of Asian culture.

Spider-Man’s Multiverse Reveal Could Bring the X-Men to the MCU
Warning: Full spoilers follow for Avengers: Endgame.
While Spider-Man: far From Home is intended to be the epilogue to Phase 3 of the MCU, the latest trailer also dropped a huge bombshell with potentially massive ramifications for the future of this shared universe. The events of Avengers: Endgame have apparently opened the doors to an entire Marvel multiverse.
From setting up the X-Men to expanding the scope of SHIELD, here are the ways in which Far From Home's multiverse reveal could play out in future MCU projects.
Introducing the X-Men and Fantastic Four
The most obvious benefit of introducing the multiverse concept is that it allows Marvel Studios to easily introduce the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the MCU. Those characters had been off-limits until Disney's purchase of 21st Century Fox was completed earlier this year. That delayed introduction creates certain storytelling problems going forward. How does Marvel explain why these two teams didn't show up before now? If Wolverine has been clawing up bad guys for decades, why didn't he show up to help fight Thanos in Endgame?
