Unused Avengers: Endgame Subplot Had Black Widow Overseeing Orphans
SPOILERS AHEAD for Avengers: Endgame.
While Avengers: Endgame saw Black Widow leading the Avengers following the 5-year time jump after Thanos' Snap, an early version of the script had her instead "leading the organization in D.C. that was in charge of orphans."
Via TheWrap, Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo appeared on the Slate podcast "The Gist" and discussed how an early draft tried to deal with the "idea that one-quarter of all children have no parents."
Respawn Will Ban ‘Piggy-Backing’ Apex Legends Players
Respawn is cracking down on "Piggy-Backing" in Apex Legends and will ban players who utilize the technique that involves players not actually participating in a match but using their teammates to "carry them to a good position and level up faster."
Jayfresh, Respawn's community manager, took to Reddit to give some updates to issues the team is currently working on for Apex Legends, including the aforementioned Piggy-Backing.
According to Respawn, Piggy-Backing is "when a player drafts off other players in the squad to carry them to a good position and level up faster but doesn't actually participate in the match
Payday 2 Publisher Starbreeze May Not Last Another Year
PayDay 2 and Overkill's The Walking Dead's publisher Starbreeze may not last another year following the story told by its Q1 2019 financial report that show gross profit and operating profit losses.
As reported by MCV, Starbreeze fully acknowledged its "challenging situation" and revealed that it would have a "liquidity shortfall" before the middle of this year if no further funding was secured, meaning it would not have the cash on-hand to keep the company running.
Q1 2019 results showed sales generated of SEK 47.8m ($4.9 million USD), with PayDay 2 accounting for SEK 26.7m ($2.7 million USD), which was up from the previous period. However, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) showed a loss of SEK -106.7m ($11.1 million USD), which was more than double the loss from the same period in Q1 2018.
Avengers: Endgame Writers Confirm This Captain America Theory

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it was revealed that Captain America's love, Peggy Carter, was married and had two kids. According to Avengers: Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the man she married was the Captain America from the main MCU timeline who went back in time at the end of the film.
Speaking to Patrick Shanley of The Hollywood Reporter, Markus and McFeely said that while they can't decide Marvel's future plans, especially with time travel now in play, it was their "intention that he was always the father of those two children" after marrying the love of his life.
Pottermore and Warner Bros. Announce Collaboration for New Site
Pottermore and Warner Bros. announced Saturday a new, joint relationship to release Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts content online under one roof, called Wizarding World Digital.
The news came in a statement from Pottermore, which detailed that all quizzes, features, and articles will be moved over to WizardingWorld.com around May 15, and that Wizarding World Digital will be managing both sites from then on, including Pottermore.com.
"Be on the lookout for even more digital experiences brought to you by Wizarding World Digital – a new joint venture between Pottermore and Warner Bros.," the statement read. "We can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to…"

Tony's evolution from carefree arms dealer to a man holding the weight of the universe on his shoulders is one of the most satisfying character arcs you'll find in a superhero franchise. Even if it was a long and sometimes winding road toward that destination.

The screenwriting duo of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely shot down several fan theories in a recent spoiler interview promoting Avengers: Endgame.
