Snapchat Announces Snap Games with In-App Play
Snap Inc., the company behind Snapchat, has announced its own gaming platform that will bring games onto Snapchat with a big focus on social gaming.
Revealed during the Snap Partner Summit, Snap Games are "mobile games, made for friends," and will work inside Snapchat right from the Chat bar.
The goal of Snap Games is to allow friends to instantly chat and play games together, with no installs required, and it hopes to make players feel "like you’re sitting shoulder to shoulder, playing on the same screen."
The first Snap Game, Bitmoji Party, is a collection of mini-games where players control Bitmojis they create and compete against their friends.
Luke Muscat, creative director of Snap's new game studio and designer of such titles as Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, has worked with his team to create Bitmoji Party for Snapchat.

How I Successfully Avoided Bioshock’s Biggest Spoiler for 12 Years
SPOILER WARNING: We are going to be talking big spoilers for BioShock (and a teeny tiny bit for BioShock Infinite). If you don't already know what's coming – like I didn't – turn back now!
One Week Ago – Before Beating BioShock:
I have a confession: I never beat BioShock. I played a fair amount of it, but my gaming PC in 2007 tragically died before I managed to make it to the credits. As anyone who has lost save files can understand, the prospect of replaying everything seemed too daunting, so it fell into my backlog of regret for more than a decade – until now.
Super Meat Boy Forever Has Been Delayed
Super Meat Boy Forever, the sequel to 2010’s punishing platforming modern classic, has been delayed past its planned April 2019 release window.
Announced by Team Meat on Twitter, the news came in the form of a note, reading “We’ve been knocking out the last bits of Super Meat Boy Forever at record speeds while keeping a healthy and sustainable pace. We are going to keep that pace which means we will not hit our April 2019 release. Sorry about that."
“We could have sacrificed our minds, bodies and social lives to make April 2019, but that’s stupid,” the note continues. “Team Meat isn’t some studio owned by an Evil Asshat corporation that has say over what we do and how we do it. We are fortunate enough to have control over how we work and we choose not to run ourselves into the ground."

Disney Confirms New Mutants Will Still Get a Theatrical Release
Disney confirmed at CinemaCon 2019 that The New Mutants X-Men film from 21st Century Fox will still receive a theatrical release this year.
During Disney’s presentation, Disney boss Alan Horn confirmed The New Mutants will be hitting theaters this year, instead of simply receiving a streaming-only release that some have anticipated.
A release slate graphic shown at the convention further confirmed Disney’s intention to give the film a theatrical release this year. A representative from Fox elaborated that some Fox movie dates will be shifted from their original schedules, but did not specifically mention The New Mutants.
The New Mutants’ most recent official release date is August 2, 2019, though this tentative date appears to be highly unlikely considering Disney’s recent acquisition of 21st Century Fox, and what little we’ve seen of the film over the past year. Actress Maisie Williams recently revealed that she doesn’t know “what the f**k is going on” with The New Mutants release either.
When I Died on GOT: One of Westeros’ Most Ambitious Women Looks Back
In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, IGN is taking a look back at some of the iconic characters who've fallen along the way, and the lasting impact they had on the story. These heroes and villains may not have made it to the end of the road, but their lives weren't in vain - they stand as a fitting reminder that when you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die.
Despite being a character created for the show, Ros managed to do pretty well for herself over the course of the three seasons she lived on Game of Thrones. She climbed her way up from a brothel in the North near Winterfell to the corridors of power in King's Landing, working for master manipulators Littlefinger and Varys to influence the politics of the Seven Kingdoms.

The Duke of Sussex was speaking about addictive games and social media to mental health experts, and said that social media is more addictive than drugs or alcohol.
When talking specifically about the battle royale, Fornite, he said, "The game shouldn't be allowed."
