Suicide Squad 2: Idris Elba to Play New Character
New reports suggest Idris Elba won't play Deadshot in The Suicide Squad out of respect to Will Smith - though he will reportedly play another character.
Reported by Variety, everyone involved, including director James Gunn, decided to move on from the Deadshot character entirely for this new film. It’s unclear which character Elba will play, but the sources suggest that nobody wanted to disrespect Smith, who portrayed Deadshot in 2016’s Suicide Squad. This theoretically leaves the door open for Smith to return in future Suicide Squad or other DCEU films, as his reason for not returning simply involved scheduling conflicts.
When Does The Witcher Come Out on Netflix?
We're starting to delve deeper into the world of The Witcher, Netflix's forthcoming series starring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, with the new info about the highly anticipated series dropping at Comic-Con.
While many fans are probably familiar with The Witcher franchise thanks to the massively popular action RPG series from CD Projekt Red, the upcoming Netflix adaptation is actually based on the series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, which inspired the games but feature some key differences - like the way Geralt carries his swords.
The Eternals: Kumail Nanjiani in Talks for Cosmic Marvel Movie
Kumail Nanjiani, known for his work on The Big Sick and Silicon Valley, is reportedly in talks to star in Marvel’s The Eternals.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, Nanjiani is in negotiations to star alongside Angelina Jolie in this cosmic adaptation that centers around super-powered aliens and their monstrous offshoots. The Eternals is allegedly one of two films that Marvel is getting ready to film this year, the second of which is possibly the long-gestating solo Black Widow film.
While there’s currently no word on who Nanjiani will play, many anticipate that Jolie will star as Sersi, an Eternal who often lives among mortals and partakes in important historical events.
Yakuza Team Comments on Judgment Character Swap After Drugs Scandal
Sega has already completed work on replacing a character model in Yakuza spin-off Judgment, after the game was pulled from sale in Japan and Asia in March following the arrest of actor Pierre Taki on drugs-related charges.
The character of Tojo Clan affiliate member Kyohei Hamura, who was previously voiced by Taki and based on his likeness, will be replaced as a newly designed original model when the game eventually goes back on sale in Japan. The Western release date of June 25 will not be affected.
“We’ve already finished replacing it,” Yakuza Studio head Toshihiro Nagoshi told IGN last week, just 14 days after the initial March 13 announcement. “It’s an original character this time, not a performance capture. You’ll have to wait to see what he looks like.”
Poll – Who Will Die in Avengers: Endgame?
With Avengers: Endgame almost upon us (three weeks!), we’re biting our nails wondering just which heroes are going to make it out alive. After all, the filmmakers have teased that this movie will be a literal ending for some characters, and given that the heroes are going up against Thanos equipped with a wicked new edged weapon, we have no problem believing that not everyone is going to make it out alive.
We want to know which hero you think is most likely to die in Avengers: Endgame. Yes, multiple heroes may fall, but to keep things focused we want to hear which single hero you think won’t survive. Your choice should be the one currently-living hero you’re confident will be permanently dead by the time the credits roll (and who will stay dead even after the mid-credits and post-credits scenes).
Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournaments to Penalize Players for Being Smelly
Konami is cracking down on poor hygiene at its official Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournaments, with the implementation of a new rule that penalizes players if they or their clothes are "dirty or bad-smelling."
The new rule, posted to the official Yu-Gi-Oh! blog as part of a wider tournament policy update, can be found under a subsection labeled "Hygiene." It reads: "This is a new section, requiring all persons attending a tournament to be clean and wear clean clothing. If you or your clothing is excessively dirty or bad-smelling, you can be penalized."
The new rule appears to be a welcome policy update, judging by players' reactions online. A post linking to the new policy on the Yu-Gi-Oh! subreddit is overwhelmingly, if not entirely, filled with messages of support. "Best timeline," reads the post's top comment.

The contents of Funimation's 30th Anniversary Dragon Ball Z Collector's Edition have been revealed.
Now that the page is live on Funimation.com, the collection is confirmed to include the entirety of Dragon Ball Z, remastered on Blu-ray in the 4:3 format of the original broadcasts. Also included are an exclusive 11-inch Banpresto Goku figure, a hardcover artbook, and a certificate of authenticity. The set can be preordered now for $350, and becomes available Nov. 5.
Funimation previously teased the collection and said it would require at least 2500 reservations to make the set a reality, due to the high costs associated with making the package. The number of required reservations has now been adjusted to 3000 and, as of the time this article goes live, around 15% of those reservations have been claimed.

The Surprising Way Game of Thrones Pulled Off This Gory Beheading
In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, IGN is taking a look back at some of the iconic characters who've fallen along the way, and the lasting impact they had on the story. These heroes and villains may not have made it to the end of the road, but their lives weren't in vain - they stand as a fitting reminder that when you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die.
From commander of the City Watch to disgraced member of the Night's Watch, Janos Slynt wasn't known for his honor. In fact, he was a character who became a thorn in enough powerful sides over the course of his journey that he frequently found himself booted from the corridors of power he backstabbed and betrayed his way into. Let's just say that if Arya Stark had ever encountered Slynt, he certainly would have ended up on her list.
