Disney CEO Says Post-Avengers: Endgame Plans Will Be Revealed This Summer
Update: Though Kevin Feige remained a bit vague when we spoke to him ahead of Avengers: Endgame's release, we now have a better idea of when to expect at least some of the MCU Phase 4 plans to be revealed.
As reported by Variety, Disney CEO Bob Iger said during the company's quarterly earnings call that Marvel Studios would most likely reveal its upcoming slate this summer. That would neatly align with any plans Disney may have for either San Diego Comic-Con or D23 2019.
Iger also reportedly hinted that Avengers: Endgame offers some hints about where the MCU will go from here, but declined to specifically point to what in the megahit film he was referring to.
The Significance of Iron Man’s New Armor in Avengers: Endgame
The latest Avengers: Endgame Special Look trailer is full of tantalizing new secrets, but one thing that stuck out is how much it featured Tony Stark. Whereas the first trailer made it seem like he might not even make it back to Earth, this one shows he not only survives but reunites with Pepper Potts, makes up with Captain America, and built a new suit of Iron Man armor.
But that’s not just any Iron Man suit. It’s a very specific look for Iron Man from the comics, and it actually tells us a great deal about what might be going on with Tony in Endgame.

Soundwave, Ultra Magnus Coming to Transformers: TCG in Wave 3
Fan-favorite Transformers and new card types head up Wave 3 of Transformers: The Card Game. Among the upcoming additions are Soundwave, Ultra Magnus and Major Shockwave.
Based on the Transformers Siege: War for Cybertron line from Hasbro, Wave 3 also introduces two new card types: Battle Master and Micro Master cards. Wave 3 is set for a June 28 release in the U.S. and "certain other regions."
Whereas the Metroplex card took the large character cards of Transformers: TCG and made an incredibly massive 200mm tall card, the new Battle and Micro Master cards shrink cards down to 88mm tall by 63mm wide.
Drew Nolosco, Transformers: TCG Brand Manager, told us each War for Cybertron: Siege pack "will have two character cards in it: one large character and one small character," and includes some characters "never been shown before in their original Cybertronian incarnations."
Black Widow Movie Set to Start Filming in June
Marvel Studios' standalone Black Widow film is, according to Hellboy's David Harbour, scheduled to start filming in June of this year.
As reported by Den of Geek!, Harbour, who is set to appear in Black Widow, was doing a press junket for Hellboy when he was asked if he could reveal anything about the upcoming solo film that would star Scarlett Johansson.
“I think it's slated to start in June,” Harbour reveals. “I don't think they have it fully-boarded yet, but it's a great character. I'm really excited about it. The cast is fleshing out (with) Scarlett and Florence Pugh, I think they said. I know they were talking about Rachel Weisz. There's some really great actresses.”

Tom Clancy Games ‘Changed Ubisoft’, Says CEO
When you think of Ubisoft, a few key franchises probably come to mind: Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, and Far Cry, for instance. For Ubisoft CEO and co-founder Yves Guillemot, however, it was the Tom Clancy brand (and subsequently dozens of Clancy games) that impacted Ubisoft the most.
“The first one that changed the lot of the company was Splinter Cell,” Guillemot said. “We went for the Xbox, and it was a complex bet, and a dangerous bet because they didn't have many machines
This Game of Thrones Casualty Took Down One of the Biggest Characters
In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, IGN is taking a look back at some of the iconic characters who've fallen along the way, and the lasting impact they had on the story. These heroes and villains may not have made it to the end of the road, but their lives weren't in vain - they stand as a fitting reminder that when you play the game of thrones, you win, or you die.
Olly's arc from a tragic, humble farm boy to a vengeful, mutinous member of the Night's Watch ended in a death that probably didn't leave many Game of Thrones viewers in mourning. From killing Ygritte to landing the fatal blow that killed Jon Snow, Olly's single-minded hatred for the Wildlings proved to be his undoing.
Days Gone: How Sony Bend Built the Horde
Since its debut in 2016, the centerpiece of Days Gone has been its massive hordes of decidedly-not-undead Freakers that fill the screen with hundreds of enemies, all hell-bent on catching (and devouring) you. Recently, I had the chance to visit Bend Studio in Oregon for a crash-course on the technology behind Days Gone’s open world, and (among other things) how the team was able to get so many creatures on screen at once without causing our PS4s to burst into flames.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Finally Has a Combat Record
Almost six months after its release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 now has a Combat Record feature, although it is only accessible through the Call of Duty Companion app and website.
As reported by Eurogamer, the Combat Record feature is now live and allows you to check an impressive amount of stats in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, including such granular details as specific pieces of equipment and weapon attachments.
However, fans are upset that this feature is not available in the actual game itself, especially after a Reddit post by developer Treyarch that promised it would be added to the latest Call of Duty title.
