Hasbro Announces Retro Star Wars Figurines
Hasbro has revealed three new Star Wars figurines exclusively to IGN that will be available at 2019's San Diego Comic-Con.
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, a 6-inch scale Boba Fett figure will be released through Star Wars' premium line, The Black Series. It is inspired by the retro Kenner action figures, and comes with four accessories, including a blaster and jetpack. The Black Series' Boba Fett figure will retail for $24.99 USD.
A Luke Skywalker Jedi Destiny vintage collection set has also been revealed, with a 3.75-inch standing Luke, who has been designed from the original trilogy.
Luke will come with three of the iconic looks from A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi – acting as a Stormtrooper, in his X-Wing pilot gear, and wearing his classic all-black Jedi Knight attire. The Luke Skywalker Jedi Destiny collection will retail at $49.99 USD.
The Rise of Skywalker Packaging Shows Kylo Ren’s Fixed Mask
New packaging for future Star Wars products gives us a good look at the repaired mask Kylo Ren uses in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
The packaging, which can be seen below, will be used to house The Rise of Skywalker products starting October 4, 2019 - which is being referred to as Triple Force Friday. This will be a celebration that will involve product sets for The Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Package reveals for those product lines will come at a later date. Those at Star Wars Celebration Chicago will get a chance to take photos in a life-size replica of this packaging.
While details on the helmet are scarce, it’s clear from today’s teaser that someone has decided to repair the damage Kylo did to his helmet in The Last Jedi, where he furiously smashed it against the inside of an elevator after being accosted by Supreme Leader Snoke. This act was meant to show Kylo’s refusal to hide behind a mask, and while it may be repaired, the teaser did not actually show him wearing the mask. That doesn’t appear the case in this packaging.

How Star Wars: Episode IX Could Redefine the Skywalker Name
Star Wars fans finally know the full title of Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker. And as with any title reveal, the reaction has been somewhat mixed right out of the gate.
Taken at face value, this title could imply that Rey will discover she is, in fact, a member of the Skywalker family. This would fly against The Last Jedi's reveal that Rey is a nobody - just a humble, forgotten child of two lowly scavengers - but many have speculated Episode IX would push Rey's character arc in that direction. (There's also the possibility that the Skywalker of the title will refer to a redeemed Ben Solo, of course.)
However, we suspect there's more to this title than immediately meets the eye. It could be hinting that the word "Skywalker" is no longer just the name of one family of powerful Force users, but rather a title Rey takes on after completing her Force training. She could become a hero named Skywalker in the same way Bruce Wayne becomes Batman or Peter Parker becomes Spider-Man. The Skywalker title could even come to replace the title of Jedi.

The Mandalorian: First Images of New Speeder Bike Revealed
At Star Wars Celebration, we got an up-close look at a new Outer-Rim Speeder Bike from the upcoming Dinsey+ live-action series, The Mandalorian. Since we won't get any more concrete details about the bike and its owner until the panel on Sunday, the vehicle's appearance on the show floor is a great appetizer before the main course.
For a better look at the speeder in all of its rugged glory, check out the gallery below:
The speeder bike is a "screen-used" prop from The Mandalorian show, with a written description posted nearby:
"On the rugged frontier worlds of the galaxy, vehicles like speeder bikes endure harsh elements and are overworked with little down-time for maintenance. This Mobquet Zephyr-J model has had most of its unneeded bells and whistles stripped off to be functional above all else."
