Respawn Was Working on Another Game Before Jedi: Fallen Order

Respawn Entertainment was working on a different game when EA approached to discuss creating a Star Wars game. The in-production project was dropped in order for the studio to start work on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Talking to Press Start, game director Stig Asmussen said: “I think it started with EA approaching us at Respawn, and asking. I had a team, we were working on a game, and they said, “What do you guys think about Star Wars?”

Unsurprisingly, everyone at Respawn was keen. “Unanimously, my team hands down, everybody was interested in working on a Star Wars, even though we were really interested in the other game that we were working on, we saw this as an opportunity,” Asmussen said. “It’s like, “Hey, when are you ever going to get a chance to work on a Star Wars game?”

At Reboot Develop, VG247 spoke to lead writer and designer for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords and asked him if Obsidian had ever started work on a story for Knights of the Old Republic 3.

Avellone confirmed that work was underway, as the team always envisioned the KOTOR story to be a trilogy.

"When we finished the second one we were all trying to restore our lives back to sanity,” Avellone remembers. “We did start working on the third game pitch, because we always imagined the trilogy. Even when working on the second game, we

Killing Eve Developer to Work on Bond 25 Script

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the developer of Killing Eve and voice of Solo: A Star Wars Story's L3-37, has been brought in to work on the script for the next James Bond film.

The request for Waller-Bridge to improve the script for Bond 25 was reportedly made by Daniel Craig himself, according to the Observer. The 007 actor is a fan of Killing Eve as well as Fleabag, the BBC comedy that Waller-Bridge created, wrote, and starred in.

The Observer reports that Craig felt that the Bond 25 script required some “polishing”, and would be improved by the humour and offbeat style that Waller-Bridge has become famed for.
