Newspaper Accidentally Reports That Pokemon Sword, Shield and Gun Have Been Announced
Of the many, many memes spawned by the announcement of Pokemon Sword and Shield, perhaps the most popular (or at least the one I saw stolen and reposted the most) was the logo for a third version – Pokemon Gun. As it turns out, some didn't notice the joke.
As posted by Twitter user Cin Ceja, Mexican newspaper La Voz de Michoacán printed logos for Sword, Shield and Gun alongside its news piece about the new games:

Ben Affleck Gets Candid About His Batman Exit
It's been barely over two weeks since Ben Affleck officially hung up the cape and cowl and confirmed he would not be reprising his role as Batman in Matt Reeves' forthcoming film The Batman. In addition to starring in the title role, Affleck was intended to direct and write the script for the movie, but for those of you wondering what his story might have been, even he doesn't know.
IGN's Max Scoville sat down with Affleck for a special live roundtable interview with him and the rest of the star-studded cast of Netflix's Triple Frontier, and asked the actor what his Batman movie would have been. You can watch Affleck answer the question at the 16:20 moment below:
Metal Gear Director on Oscar Isaac Casting: ‘The Ball’s In Oscar’s Court’
Oscar Isaac wants the world to know that he is game to play Solid Snake in the planned Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation.
While participating in IGN's cast roundtable for Netflix's Triple Frontier, IGN host Max Scoville asked the star-studded lineup -- including Isaac, Pedro Pascal, Ben Affleck, Garrett Hedlund and Charlie Hunnam -- which video game-turned-film they would want to be a part of. Isaac, who is best known for his role in Star Wars as Poe Dameron, was quick to voice his interest in the Hideo Kojima classic Metal Gear Solid.
"Metal Gear Solid, that's the one," said Isaac. "I'm throwing my hat in for that one." You can watch this portion of the interview starting at the 12:30 minute marker below:

Dragon Ball Z 30th Anniversary Collector’s Edition Announced With a Twist
Funimation is celebrating Dragon Ball Z's 30th Anniversary with a Collector's Edition that will need at least 2,500 fans to purchase to make it happen.
Announced by Funimation, this Collector's Edition will include the complete Dragon Ball Z series on Blu-Ray with new bonus content, North America's first full-sized hardback artbook that is only available in this edition, an exclusive figure, and much more.
Funimation is holding this reservation campaign because, "due to the high costs associated with the set, we need to guarantee a minimum to print." It claims that is the minimum build order needed from its printers to make this a reality, and if they don't reach the 2,500 goal, the Collector's Edition will not be made.
Dead or Alive 6’s Season Pass 1 Costs $93
Dead or Alive 6's first season pass, which is available now, will get players 62 costumes and 2 new characters for...$92.99 USD.
Dead or Alive 6, the latest entry in the fighting franchise that began back in 1996, released last week and we called it good, saying "DoA 6 proves there's plenty of depth to this fighter beneath its skimpy outfits, but its story mode is disjointed and its multiplayer features are currently bare."
As with most games these days, the release of the game isn't the end of the content, and DOA 6 is offering players a chance to purchase, for $92.99 USD, its first season pass that will give content to players between March 2019 - June 2019.
In Defense of Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
I never thought I’d actually be in a position to defend Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball. Well, technically it was "Dead Or Alive Xtreme 2," but that's not really the point. It’s an absurd game structured around half-naked women playing volleyball, featuring...uh...those infamous “jiggle physics.” In an episode of The Bernie Mac Show, it’s represented strictly auditorily as women moaning. As many have said before (and I’m looking at some specific reviews, here) who would play these games if not just to ogle half-naked women?
How’s Season 2 of The Orville So Far?
With eight episodes aired, season two of The Orville is off to a strong start. It continues to blend equal parts science fiction and social philosophy, though its proportion of outrageous gags has declined markedly in favor of subtler comedic elements. Despite a few lingering areas for improvement, Seth McFarlane’s love letter to Star Trek is really starting to gain momentum.
Warning: Some serious spoilers for The Orville Seasons 1 and 2 below!
After two relatively strong episodes focusing on Peter Macon’s outstanding alien character Bortus, Season 2 stumbled a bit with the surprise departure of security chief Alara Kitan (Halston Sage) in episode three. Though it seems unintentional, Sage’s departure is eerily reminiscent of Denise Crosby’s early exit from her role as chief of security in Star Trek: The Next Generation. That parallel is itself similar to John Lamarr (J. Lee) transitioning from navigator to chief engineer (in season one) almost exactly the same way Geordi did on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Fortunately, such one-to-one references are rare and usually not too meta, though occasionally they do veer too far in that direction -- e.g. when a fanatical, warlike alien race embeds a mole on the Orville under the assumed identity of "Lieutenant Tyler". That's such an on-the-nose poke at Discovery you wonder if it could somehow have been a coincidence.
Hellboy in 4K and More DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Movies Out Tomorrow

Streaming is taking a bigger share of the home video market, but there are still plenty of ways to bring home your favorite movies on physical media. Leading up the movie releases for March 5, 2019 is Hellboy on 4K Blu-ray. This is the 2004 Guillermo del Toro movie, and the animated Hellboy series comes to 4K April 2, while the sequel is scheduled for the ultra-HD treatment in May.
Keep in mind, many 4K Blu-ray movies aren't "true" 4K. You can check to see which movies are truly 4K once the movie has been released on 4K Blu-ray.
