Luke Perry, sSar of 90210 and Riverdale, Dies at 52
Actor Luke Perry has died at the age of 52 following a stroke last Wednesday, reported by Variety.
Perry was known for his role of Dylan McKay in Beverly Hills, 90210, which made him a teen idol in the nineties. He also appeared in The Fifth Element as Billy Masterson, and was more recently in Riverdale as Fred Andrews. Perry also did voice work for the animated series, The Incredible Hulk.
Perry was hospitalized the same day that Fox announced a revival of 90210, which will feature a returning cast including Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling. Both Perry and Shannen Doherty were not announced to be in the revival that will release this summer.
12 Cancelled TV Shows That Need to Come Back
For better or worse, everything old is new again. Reboots are nothing fresh in Hollywood, but it's only recently that TV's caught a severe case of revival fever - bringing back old hit shows with all, or most, of the original cast intact.
From Will & Grace to Murphy Brown to Roseanne (now The Conners), these revivals can range from truly excellent to utterly dreary. For every terrific and twisted Twin Peaks continuation there's a disappointing Heroes Reborn. Then there are the full-on reboots/re-imaginings that are able to surpass the original show, like Battlestar Galactica and One Day at a Time. And, occasionally, there are movies that miraculously make their way to the small screen - whether it's the Evil Dead saga continuing Ash's adventures decades later or the harrowing Hannibal-verse getting the "mix tape" treatment. There's even the just-announced Beverly Hills, 90210 revival featuring many of the original cast members returning... to play themselves, and MTV's long-awaited Daria reboot, which has to be great, doesn't it?

Why The Good Place’s Season 3 Twist May Be Its Best Yet
The Good Place showrunner Michael Schur insists that he didn’t name Michael, the bowtie-wearing architect of the afterlife played by Ted Danson, after himself. But you don’t have to squint too hard to see the similarities between the two.
Ultimately, for the first season-and-a-half of The Good Place, Michael (psychopomp edition) is a man who pitches a big idea to his bosses and, after it gets off to a difficult start, lands a second chance by reimagining his creation. As the co-creator of Parks & Recreation – a show which only really blossomed after its first season, when it was given a not-so-soft reboot – Schur might be able to relate.

Game of Thrones S8 to Include ‘The Longest Consecutive Battle Sequence Ever’
It sounds as thought the entirety of one of Game of Thrones' six remaining episodes will be a battle sequence.
While this story doesn't contain direct spoilers, those who want to know nothing about GoT Season 8 should turn away now.
A new set report from Entertainment Weekly, reveals that one episode will feature the battle of Winterfell, pitting human allies against the army of the Night King.
It'll bring together the most major GoT characters in one place since the show's first episode and is apparently 'expected to be the longest consecutive battle sequence ever committed to film'.
