Xbox One Phantom White Special Edition Wireless Controller Revealed
Today on Inside Xbox, Microsoft revealed the Phantom White Special Edition wireless controller, inevitably banishing all your other gamepads to the dark, lonely drawer where you keep the "guest controllers" with the sticking buttons.
Though already available for pre-order, the Phantom White Special Edition will be available worldwide starting April 2, and will retail for $70 USD.
Yes, that's steep, but the Phantom White Special Edition controller sports a sleek translucent-to-matte-white body gradient, showcasing the mechanical guts of the peripheral underneath.
In addition, the triggers, buttons, and D-pad are white, while the thumbsticks are accented in grey, with a small quad-color decal in the center of the face buttons as a helpful reminder of the color they used to carry before you outgrew the need for such things.

In a bizarre turn of events, Academy Awards nominee Felicity Huffman and Full House actress Lori Loughlin have been charged in an alleged college admissions fraud case.
Reported by CNN, the actresses are two of nearly 50 individuals charged in the scam, which includes 33 parents, nine college coaches, two SAT/ACT administrators, one exam proctor and one college administrator. This nationwide fraud involves parents allegedly paying a college prep organization to take standardized tests on behalf of their children or correcting answers, and bribing college coaches to help admit students as recruited athletes. The FBI’s investigation into the case was code-named Operation Varsity Blues.

Everything You Love About the Switch, the Wii U Did First
You know when a plane in a movie falls into an irrecoverable dive, the rocks rising up to meet it, the collision inevitable, the pilot’s eyes locked wide open - but then, somehow, it pulls up at the last second? For you that image might call to mind Goldeneye; for me, a person so British as to make parody impossible, it’s Wallace and Gromit. The point is, it’s the same satisfying trajectory Nintendo fans have witnessed in the two years since the Switch came out.
The extraordinary success of the Switch has been all the more exhilarating for the downward momentum Nintendo had accrued during the Wii U years. For a single company to be responsible for both a console cycle’s most disastrous machinery failure and its soaring surprise recovery? It’s nothing less than the stuff of cinema, if movies were made about game company financials. And in a world where The Big Short wins an Oscar, maybe they will. But the truth is more complex. In fact, everything that has made the Switch the console of a generation was birthed, rather clumsily, by its predecessor.
