If you buy something through this post, IGN may get a share of the sale. For more, read our Terms of Use.
If you're looking for a gaming PC and don't want to put one together on your own, a prebuilt is a solid option. These prebuilts are on sale at Walmart right now, and you can secure some peace of mind by adding an extended warranty when you check-out.
Prebuilts are a great way to get started with PC gaming - you can still swap out RAM, add another SSD or make other changes to upgrade the machine and make it your own. Any one of these machines will have no problem playing Resident Evil 2, the upcoming Jump Force and Far Cry New Dawn, or the just-released free to play Apex Legends.
Apex Legends May Get Cross-Play
Respawn is currently working on Cross-play for Apex Legends, but is not promising anything at the moment.
Lead Producer at Respawn, Drew McCoy, told Eurogamer that it, "plans to allow players to play with their friends on other platforms," in the future.
However, McCoy said cross-progression and cross-purchases will never be a possibility in the game. The inability is due to the way the systems were created early on in the process, which, "can't
reconciled after the fact," he said.
Apex Legends has already made a huge impact in the battle royale world, first with its secrecy around the game and its sudden launch on Monday. As of Tuesday morning, Respawn's CEO, Vince Zampella, announced that Apex Legends brought in 1 million players in less than eight hours from its launch.

We knew it would be risky to take the franchise in this direction, to go free to play, and do a surprise launch. But we fell in love with Apex Legends and wanted, needed, other people to play it too," Zampella wrote in a blog post.
