What Could Nintendo’s Unannounced 2019 Games Be?
Nintendo announced today that it's holding onto some unannounced games that it plans to release this year. If there's one thing I love, it's ruining the surprise for myself, and so I did a little digging into possible clues.
It's an interesting situation, given that Nintendo tends to enjoy teeing up its bigger games well in advance of their release. That would seem to point to a smaller release - but Nintendo has also said it has an unannounced title it thinks will "please fans" in the wings. With that in mind, the following is a list of (mostly) informed speculation about what we could be seeing pop up in a Nintendo Direct, and popping into our Switches shortly afterwards:
NetherRealm Confirms Shaggy Will Not Be Added to Mortal Kombat 11
Despite the internet's pleas to see the hero of the hour, Scooby Doo's Shaggy won't be making an appearance in Mortal Kombat 11.
During NetherRealm's Kombat Kast live stream (via Gamespot), the company revealed that Kabal will be back on the roster but also confirmed that we won't be seeing Shaggy make the list. Community manager Tyler Lansdown's shut down fans dreams, saying "Shaggy will not be in the game, ever, sorry, dead meme!".

Why Supernatural’s 300th Episode Is a ‘Starting Point,’ Not an Ending
This interview contains spoilers for Supernatural's 300th episode, "Lebanon."
Supernatural celebrated its 300th episode with a powerful installment that celebrated the strength of the Winchester family, bringing back Jeffrey Dean Morgan for the first time since Season 2.
With 300 episodes under their belts, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), and Baby (their beloved Impala) might be running out of gas, but according to showrunner Andrew Dabb, the 300th episode is designed "to bring them to, not an endpoint necessarily, but a starting point." Below, Dabb discusses the impact that John's return will have on Sam, Dean, and Mary moving forward, and what we can expect from the show's newly-announced Season 15.

Aquaman Spinoff Movie About The Trench in Development
An Aquaman spinoff film centered on the Trench, the mass of ravenous amphibious creatures who attack Aquaman and Mera partway through the original film, is reportedly in early development.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the project is simply titled The Trench, and won’t involve any of the main cast from the original film. It’s reportedly being written by newcomers Noah Gardner and Aidan Fitzgerald, and will be “horror-tinged” and set in the kingdom of the Trench. Both writers were assistants at JJ Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions, and reportedly wrote the script for a submarine thriller called The Volos.

15 Coolest Times the Avengers Have Assembled
While audiences are expecting quite a bit to happen in Avengers: Endgame, comic fans are hoping to see, or rather hear, one thing in particular: Captain America saying the iconic rallying phrase, "Avengers assemble!" The first time the Avengers formed on-screen during the Battle of New York, Cap didn't need to say the words because the circle-round shot did a superb job showing the team assembling, so it would've been overkill to say it, director Joss Whedon explained at the time. While Whedon withheld the signature call-to-arms with the best of intentions then, he outright trolled fans at the end of Age of Ultron when the film abruptly ended just as the words were about to leave Cap's lips. Now, with one Avengers film left to go before Chris Evans reportedly departs the role, what better time for Cap to finally deliver the goods?

When I think of places to buy a new computer, Walmart is not the first name that pops into my head. It's not even the eighth name, honestly. But if you move past the lack of association with Walmart and gaming PCs in our collective consciousnesses, it's actually a pretty great place to get good deals on gaming laptops and PCs. And if, for whatever reason, the idea of getting a laptop from Walmart doesn't sit right with you, Walmart offers surprisingly affordable extended warranties.
Former Telltale Devs Form New Adventure Game Studio
Several former Telltale Games developers have founded a new development company, AdHoc Studio.
According to Variety, four former Telltale developers have reunited to form AdHoc with the intention of continuing their legacy of crafting narrative-focused games. While details on their first project have not been revealed, "the team is strongly hinting" it will be "an interactive, live-action experience."
"Making interactive experiences with real actors on the screen is something we've always talked about," AdHoc Chief Creative Officer Pierre Shorette said. "We all have backgrounds and interest in film and television, so combining that with our experience in games is something we're exploring right now."
