Nvidia has unveiled what will likely be the final RTX GPU in its Turing architecture lineup; the $349 RTX 2060 Founder's Edition. The appeal of this GPU is that is is the most affordable video card you can buy that supports Nvidia's new technologies, namely ray tracing and DLSS (super sampling). At roughly $250 less than the next card in the stack, the RTX 2070, that's a compelling offer assuming it can actually do ray tracing well. Nvidia is sweetening the deal even further with a promotion that offers a copy of Battlefield 5 or Anthem as well for every RTX 2060 it sells, but it's not clear how long this offer will last. The RTX 2060 goes on sale on January 15th, both in Founder's Edition trim and from Nvidia's partners.

Razer’s New Raptor Monitor, Updated Blade 15, And New Panels
Razer has announced an all-new gaming monitor designed for eSports, and it's calling it the Razer Raptor. This Chroma-enabled gaming display features a 27" IPS panel with a 4ms response time (1ms with Motion Blur Reduction), support for AMD's FreeSync technology, and an innovative cable management system that is unlike anything I've seen before on a monitor, gaming or otherwise.
The Raptor features seriously thin 2.3mm side-and-top bezels, with a more traditional thicker bezel down below. The panel runs at 2560 x 1440 resolution (WQHD), and has a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. It's not just for gamers though, as its panel supports 95 percent of the wider DCI-P3 color gamut. It also supports HDR content with a maximum brightness of 420 nits. As you can see in the photos, it's also Chroma-enabled on its base, so you can sync the monitor's lighting with that of your keyboard, mouse, headset, and mousepad.
Nvidia Unveils The RTX 2060 and Mobile RTX GPUs
Nvidia held a press conference ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and unveiled a slew of new gaming hardware that should please fans of both desktop and on-the-go gaming. The graphics company pulled the wraps off an all-new RTX 2060 GPU for the "midrange" desktop platform as well as its new RTX line of mobile GPUs.
The RTX 2060 is not a surprise at all, and is eagerly anticipated since the $349 GPU is the least expensive RTX GPU to be released thus far, and costs about $200 less than its RTX 2070 sibling. Despite the "low" price it still supports Nvidia's next-gen technologies, namely ray tracing and DLSS (super sampling). Nvidia claims the RTX 2060 will be up to 60 percent faster in today's games than the GTX 1060. Both Founder's Editions and partner cards will start at $349, and they will go on sale on January 15th. There is also going to be a gaming bundle, where if you buy an RTX 2060 or 2070 you can get a copy of Anthem or Battlefield 5, but it's unclear how long the promotion will last. Stay tuned for benchmarks and a full review of this GPU in the future.
