Bird Box Monster From Cut Scene Revealed
Though audiences never saw what the monsters in Bird Box looked like, designers who worked on the film have given us a peek at what one would have appeared as in a scene that was cut from the film.
As reported by The Wrap, creature designer and sculptor Andy Bergholtz (who also worked on A Quiet Place) posted mockups of the creature on Instagram with an explanation of why it was cut from the film.
Spoiler warning: spoilers for Bird Box ahead.
Bergholtz said that he designed “3 or 4 variations” of what one of the monsters would have looked like in the cut scene. The scene in question involved Sandra Bullock’s character experiencing a “dream/nightmare sequence” while pregnant. He clarified that the visions each character saw when encountering a creature would differ from person to person depending on their fears, so Bullock’s would assume the form of a “twisted, demonic baby creature attacking her."

After saying that he really enjoyed watching Aquaman, Feige said "One thing you know about James Gunn, he makes cool films.” However, regardless of who directs it, Feige confirmed that “Guardians
The Sci-Fi Movies That Predicted 2019… And Got It Wrong
It's 2019, which means we're definitely living in the future! If you don't believe me, look out the window and witness all the hovercrafts, all the jetpacks, all the ray guns, all the food replicators! It's a glorious technical wonderland!
Well, okay, it's not as glorious as the sci-fi movies would have us believe (although we do have streaming services now!). Indeed, a lot of sci-fi has already proven to be wholly inaccurate. 1984 was nothing like the book 1984. New York was not walled off and made into a prison in 1997 (as posited by John Carpenter's Escape from New York), nor was Los Angeles walled off and turned into a prison in 2013 (as posited by its sequel). Heck, by Star Trek's timeline, Khan should have risen to power way back in 1992, and the Eugenics Wars should have ended by 1996. Zefram Cochrane, the inventor of warp drive, will be born in 2030, so mark your calendars.

Looking ahead, 2019 appears to be an even bigger year, as traditional cable channels compete with the likes of Amazon, Netflix, and the upcoming Disney+ platform. The battle for viewers has never been more intense, so in order to help you navigate 2019's onslaught of programming, here are 20 new shows we think you should check out over the coming months.
God of War Art Director Posts ‘Remastered’ Super Smash Bros. Art
While Super Smash Bros. Ultimate seems to have everything in it — well, everything as it relates to Smash Bros. history — it doesn't include God of War Art Director Raf Grassetti's take on the Nintendo fighter roster.
Sony Santa Monica Studio's Grassetti has debuted several "remastered" reimaginings of Smash Bros. fighters, including Samus Aran, Bowser, and a Sonic the Hedgehog who seems to take some inspiration from what many expect the live-action Sonic could look like.
Check out his art already revealed so far, and stay tuned to updates to the gallery below, as well as Grassetti's Instagram, for more.
