The Most Popular Pinball Machine of All Time Has a New Challenger
Stern Pinball Inc. has revealed The Munsters pinball machine, a theme that may seem outdated after recent Stern Pinball machines from Stern, like Deadpool, The Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones. But another family of monsters, The Addams Family, was the subject of the best-selling pinball machine of all time in 1992, so The Munsters isn't so out of place as a pinball theme. The Munsters was a mid-1960s CBS sitcom that competed directly with ABC's The Addams Family -- but how does The Munsters pinball machine plan to take on the competition? Check out the images below of The Munsters playfield, cabinet, and a bunch of detailed shots of toys and more.
Sony Considering Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse TV Show Spinoffs
Though we know sequel and spinoff films are already in development for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it looks like Sony may be considering producing animated television shows based on some of its characters.
In a profile on Sony and its CEO Kenichiro Yoshida, New York Times says the consumer electronic powerhouse is aiming to shift further into the entertainment realm by leveraging many of its properties with sequels and spinoffs. Specifically, the critically acclaimed animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is mentioned as a candidate for TV show spinoffs based on characters introduced in the film.

Alienware’s Area-51m Is a Powerful, Upgradeable New Laptop
Alienware unveiled an all-new fire-breathing laptop during CES 2019, the Area-51m. It's only the second time in the company's long history that it's endowed a laptop with the airy title of "Area-51," which it usually reserves for its flagship desktop PC. The reason this laptop deserves this lofty moniker is that despite being a laptop, it's got several ambitious desktop features.
First of all, instead of using a mobile processor, the new flagship laptop will be rocking a 9th-gen Intel Core i9-9900K eight core, 16 thread socketed CPU and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card.
HyperX Reveals New Cloud Orbit Headsets With 100mm Drivers
HyperX revealed two new headsets at CES 2019: the Cloud Orbit and Cloud Orbit S, as well as the HyperX Quadcast microphone. The microphone is HyperX's first standalone mic and features a built-in shock mount.
Both Cloud headsets feature 100mm planar magnetic drivers from Audeze, and Waves NX head tracking technology is part of the Cloud Orbit S.
The Audeze drivers use "extremely thin-film speakers and powerful custom magnets" to produce "realistic spatial audio," according to HyperX.
Waves NX bring a "360-degree audio environment" to the Cloud Orbit S. In the real world, you might hear a distant sound and turn your head to better hear it, and Waves NX head tracking keeps sound sources where they should be in relation to your position. This makes it a good fit for VR applications, where traditional headphones lack the "movement" of sound.

13 Secrets We Learned on the Set of Captain Marvel
While Marvel was shooting Captain Marvel in 2018, IGN and a small group of press visited the set in southern California to learn more about the upcoming film featuring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, the high-flying superhero Captain Marvel. The two trailers released thus far have given viewers a taste of what to expect, and now we have some juicy soundbites from the directors, producer, and actors for you to sink your teeth into.

The Movie’s Unusual Timeline
The trailers have already painted a picture of what to expect, but producer Jason Schwartz gave us the chronological skeleton of how the movie unfolds. He said they were consciously trying to make this movie different structurally from other Marvel origin stories, and so “the movie starts with the Captain Marvel character already in outer space, already having superpowers, and already fighting on the side of the Kree in the Kree/Skrull war. You get a glimpse of her squad there, Starforce, led by
Marvel ‘Planting Seeds’ for Secret Invasion in Captain Marvel
The upcoming Captain Marvel movie features the introduction of the Skrulls, a shapeshifting race of aliens with green skin and pointy ears. They’re the villains who are at war with the Kree, another race of aliens that Captain Marvel is allied with at the start of the film. The Skrulls’ most iconic storyline in the comics is the 2008 event Secret Invasion where numerous citizens of Earth and even several superheroes are revealed to be Skrull sleeper agents who then enact their years-in-the-making plan to conquer the planet. With Captain Marvel establishing the Skrulls in the ‘90s of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it certainly opens the door for Secret Invasion to come to fruition in a later movie.
Razer Shows Off Its New Tomahawk PC Cases
Razer revealed its newest, Chroma-enabled PC cases during CES 2019, the Razer Tomahawk and Razer Tomahawk Elite PC chassis.
The ATX cases are Razer's first "developed in-house in the form of a traditional mid-tower form factor." The Tomahawk Elite features tempered glass side panels that open vertically for "quick and easy access" to the components inside.
It's also built for gamers running liquid cooling systems in their rigs and features a "hydraulic-powered top panel that automatically lifts itself" to let more air pass through the case "during intense gaming sessions," like running modern games on ultra settings or letting PUBG idle on the title screen.
Other third-party cases have integration with Razer's Chroma lighting system through Razer's 2014 "Designed by Razer" case program, and the new Tomahawk case are also equipped.
Resident Evil 2 ‘1-Shot’ Demo Arriving This Week

Announced by Capcom, this 1-Shot Demo will give players one chance and 30 minutes to try out the remake of the 1998 horror classic.
The demo will be available for download from January 11 through January 31 and will be similar to the demos that have been shown at such events as E3.
Players will be put in the shoes of rookie cop Leon Kennedy as he explores the terror that has overtaken Raccoon City Police Department.
While the demo will only last 30 minutes, players will be able to continue if they die. However, once the time is up, so will be the demo.
