Stop Pretending the MCU Is Connected to Marvel Netflix
From the beginning, there's been a very strange relationship between the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Netflix's Marvel shows. Tonally and stylistically, these shows could hardly be more different from the movies to which they're supposedly connected. And now with Netflix seemingly ready to jettison these shows entirely, it's time we all admit what's been obvious for a while. These shows don't actually connect to the MCU.
As it is, there's always been a very one-sided relationship between Marvel Studios movies and the various MCU-connected shows. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. constantly reinvents itself to match the current state of the MCU, yet characters and events from that series are almost never referenced in the movies. Still, at least Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. occasionally draws in familiar MCU faces like Nick Fury and Lady Sif. The connection may be one-sided, but at least it exists.
7 Important Changes Coming to The Division 2
I played a lot of The Division when it came out. Going by its record-breaking sales numbers, you probably did too.I got close to level cap, spent a bunch of time in the Dark Zone – getting screwed over, and occasionally, screwing over others – and had a brilliant time. Then I stopped and never went back.
The Division was a huge success for Ubisoft – it broke a company sales record – but that drop-off is something the sequel wants to address. Its developer, Massive Entertainment, wants more people to be playing The Division 2 for longer, and to achieve that the team is Sweden is making a host of changes – some big, some subtle – to the sequel.

Death Stranding: Kojima Shows Off 2 Hours of the Game Privately
Someone outside of Kojima Productions finally knows what Death Stranding actually is. Sadly, it's not us.
Hideo Kojima has shown off the first two hours of gameplay to developers at Horizon: Zero Dawn studio, Guerrilla Games.
However, don't take that to mean it's ready for the rest of us yet – Kojima Productions head of marketing and communications, Aki Saito makes clear that the game isn't yet complete:
Showed the first 2 hours of gameplay to our Guerrilla brothers. Yes, Hideo was demonstrating it! (The game is not fully completed...yet)

New GT Sport Update Includes Returning Track from GT5, GT6
The latest free update for Gran Turismo Sport features eight new vehicles and, for the first time, the return of an existing original GT track from a previous instalment of the series: Special Stage Route X.
Special Stage Route X began life as DLC for GT5, and later appeared in GT6. Its pedigree doesn’t trace back as far as the likes of classic original circuits like Grand Valley or Trial Mountain but its unique layout has made it popular with fans looking to hit absolute top speed. Special Stage Route X is an enormous, 18-mile oval – two huge banked corners connected by a pair of seven-mile straights – so it’s been a useful place to benchmark a variety of performance metrics.
Mixer Adds Premium Currency to Support Streamers with Real Money
Microsoft's streaming platform Mixer has added a premium currency in order to allow viewers to more directly support their favourite streamers.
An update to the Mixer blog explains this new currency is called Mixer Embers and is already in early access for mobile app users. Once purchased the Embers can be used to buy skills which include animated stickers and full-screen effects, much like the already established free currency, Sparks.
Sparks are earned by watching streams on Mixer and can be spent in the chat of a Mixer Partner's channel. Where Embers will differ is that Sparks go towards achieving milestones to unlock cash bonuses while Embers will translate directly to cash. Viewers will also be able to purchase different premium skills with Embers as opposed to Sparks.
