McQuarrie has signed on to write and direct the next two Mission: Impossible films, turning down a multitude of offers from other studios in the wake of the success of Rogue Nation, and Fallout.

If you haven't seen Unbreakable in a while, or hadn't seen it before you watched Split, making the final minutes featuring Bruce Willis in a diner rather confusing, here's a handy catch-up piece to get you all settled and ready to Glass it up this weekend.

Star Wars’ Most Dangerous Idea Yet: Giving Jar Jar Binks a Lightsaber
The lightsaber used to be a special weapon that only those skilled in the Force could properly wield, but as the anthology Star Wars: Age of Republic Special #1 shows, they’re pretty much giving them to anyone with opposable thumbs these days. The short story titled “501 Plus One” is set in the Clone Wars era during the Battle of Mimban where Commander Rex is tasked with both protecting Senator Jar Jar Binks and bringing down the enemy shield generator, but when tragedy strikes it leads to a short-lived badass moment for Binks.
During the firefight, Jedi Master Laan Tik is killed, forcing Rex to retreat his forces without taking down the shield generator. After he sees to it that his troops and Binks are safe, Rex sneaks out to finish the mission by himself, not wanting to further risk the lives of his men, but he takes a laser bolt to the shoulder and falls to the ground just short of his goal. As the battle droids approach to finish off Rex, a lightsaber suddenly chops them down to size. Rex is confused, thinking it might be Laan Tik somehow returned from the dead, but his savior is revealed to be none other than Jar Jar Binks weilding the blue lightsaber of the fallen Jedi.

There are a lot of X-Men comics out there, but every once in a while one rises above the rest and cements itself as a Marvel masterpiece. 2018 saw writer Tom Taylor (Injustice, All-New Wolverine) and his artistic collaborators like Mahmud Asrar and Carmen Carnero capture lightning in a bottle with their riveting, witty and emotional series, X-Men Red (See it on Amazon). Now that it's wrapped up, it's clear to see they created an instant classic. Much like the ‘90s Uncanny X-Men and the ‘00s Astonishing X-Men, this comic speaks to the times via the mutant metaphor and cuts to the core of what it means to be an X-Man in stunning fashion.

If you have a large house, your router may not be able to beam its signal to every corner of every room. That’s where a Wi-Fi range extender comes in. As its name suggests, it boosts your Wi-Fi signal further than your router alone can handle.
Traditionally, Wi-Fi extenders have been, well, terrible. Many required you to create a new network with a different SSID otherwise your devices would have trouble knowing which one to connect to. In addition, most cheaper extenders will cut your Wi-Fi speed in half just by virtue of how they repeat the signal—not great if you want a constant, reliable connection.

Ubisoft Apologizes to Players for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey DLC Controversy
Spoilers for Assassin's Creed Odyssey and its DLC to follow.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Creative Director Jonathan Dumont says players' response to the Shadow Heritage DLC has been a "learning experience" for the developer.
The ending of Legacy of the Blade's second installment sees the player funneled into a heterosexual relationship resulting in a baby, regardless of their actions and choices in the main game, or its DLC.
Ubisoft's initial response was to assure players that the third episode would explore "the motivation behind this relationship," adding that it is part of a "set story."
