Deals on Apple iPhone are hard to come by, but they exist. To maximize your iPhone savings often requires signing up for a new plan or trading in an older phone. That's not always the case, however, as there are sporadic opportunities to save outright on a shiny new iPhone.
Now that we're comfortable in the new year, deals are still somewhat hard to come by. Right now, there aren't any stand-out deals on iPhones, but there are plenty of chances to save. Fans have waited for years, but it’s finally upon us: Crackdown 3 is set to release on February 15. One of the biggest Xbox One console exclusives for 2019, Crackdown 3 is an open-world action game that pits your super-powered agent against a terrorist group called Terra Nova.
As in previous installments, the campaign finds your agent powering up until you can throw cars through the air and leap up tall buildings in a single bound. But the biggest addition comes in the cloud-powered multiplayer, where you can bring down entire skyscrapers as you hunt for enemies.

It's that time of year again: football season is nearly over. That means the coming days will have some solid chances to save on a new TV ahead of the NFL championship game. This year it's the New England Patriots versus the Los Angeles Rams. Can 41 year-old Tom Brady bring one more win to the people of New England? It's hard to know. One thing is for sure, though: the Rams are without question America's favorite football team right now.
The match-up is scheduled for February 3 on NBC and unfortunately won't be broadcast in 4K: in spite of the fact 4K cameras will be filming the event, it's being broadcast in regular old 1080p. That doesn't mean you shouldn't take advantage of game day deals on 4K TVs. The future belongs to 4K content, and with 4K TV deals like a 43-inch Samsung for only $297.99, there's not really a compelling reason NOT to make the jump to ultra-high definition.
Mads Mikkelsen on Netflix’s Polar and His Love for Assassin Movies
Warning! Some spoilers follow for what we saw being filmed for Netflix's Polar!
Back in March of 2018, in an abandoned power plant near Toronto, Mads Mikkelsen along with dozens of heavily-armed extras, prep for one of the biggest actions sequences in the film. While the mood between Mikkelsen and his fellow actors is cheerful, the production and safety departments are deadly serious, ensuring that we are equipped with hard hats and earmuffs to shield us from the thunderous cacophony of gunfire. Without going into spoilers... it was an awesome experience to behold, giving us our first look at Netflix's new action-packed movie, Polar.
Polar, based on the Dark Horse graphic novel written by Victor Santos, centers on the legendary assassin Duncan Vizla (Mikkelsen), aka The Black Kaiser. Quickly approaching the age of 50, it's time for Duncan to retire, but his employer won't let him go quietly into the night. With his back against the wall, Duncan is once again forced to use his deadly skills in order to stay alive.
