Celebrity Deathmatch Getting Revival Series from MTV Studios
The MTV cult classic claymation comedy Celebrity Deathmatch is being revived by MTV and Ice Cube.
Announced by MTV Studios, this reimagining of the show is being executive produced by Ice Cube and his production company Cube Vision, along with series creator Eric Fogel. Ice Cube will also lend voice talent in a lead role, and more voice talent will be announced soon.
The show originally ran from 1998-2002, and again from 2006-2007, skewering celebrities, politicians, pop-icons and more. A weekly series, this revival will air exclusively for a currently undecided subscription video-on-demand service, or a premium broadcast partner sometime in 2019. This reportedly marks the first step in “reinventing” the franchise across games, consumer products and more.

Soulja Boy Is Selling Some Kind of Game Consoles, But People Are Suspicious
28-year-old rapper DeAndre Cortez Way, aka Soulja Boy, has begun selling SouljaGame branded consoles and handhelds, though it turns out, they’re really just off-brand emulators that can be found elsewhere.
Soulja Boy, best known for his 2007 #1 hit Crank That (Soulja Boy), tweeted about the console and handheld early this morning, bringing followers to his personal storefront, SouljaWatch, which also sells bluetooth headphones, smartwatches and more. However, fans immediately noted that these are not original systems, and can be found elsewhere for much cheaper than what Soulja Boy is offering.
Troy Otto and Daniel Salazar Returning to Fear the Walking Dead
They may have been absent from Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead, but Daniel Sharman and Ruben Blades are returning for the show's fifth season.
ComicBook.com first reported yesterday that Sharman will return to Fear the Walking Dead. The report comes as a surprise to fans who thought Sharman's character, Troy Otto, was likely killed when Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) hit him over the head with a hammer in Season 3.
Dickens' character left the show after Season 4, so she won't be around for Troy to take revenge against. That might not even be possible were she still on the show, however, as it's entirely possible Troy will only appear in flashback sequences. It's not known how many Season 5 episodes the character will appear in.
New Far Cry Game Teased
Ubisoft has teased what seems to be a new Far Cry game, possibly set after the events of Far Cry 5.
A teaser video (below) shows a nuclear blast going off behind what looks very much like a landscape from Far Cry 5's Hope County setting, before a buzzsaw blade is repurposed for a crossbow-like a weapon.
Aside from what seems to be a lusher post-apocalyptic setting than we're used to (well, apart from Rage 2, that is), the only other bit of information available now is that the game's listed for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
It's not totally clear if this is a spin-off, sequel, or otherwise, but Ubisoft has made clear that this is a new game entirely, rather than DLC.
Mob Psycho 100’s Season 2 Premiere Is Coming to Theaters
Crunchyroll and Fathom Events are teaming up for another year of bringing anime to theaters in 2019, and they're starting the year with a screening of Mob Psycho 100's second season premiere on January 5 in select U.S. theaters.
The premiere of Mob Psycho 100 II's first episode will be shown with "a special greeting" from Mob's voice actor Setsuo Ito and the Mob Psycho 100 OVA, which retells the events of the first season from Reigen's perspective. The hour-long OVA is currently streaming on Crunchyroll along with the first season.

25 Best Super Smash Bros. Characters
Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. features dozens of characters from our favorite video game franchises beating the crap out of each other, but which fighter is the best? While you could just look at which fighters win the most competitive tournaments and call it a day, we say there’s more to it than that. We’re also looking at what each character brings to the game that’s special, how well they replicate their signature elements, and, very importantly, how much fun they are to play.
Note that this ranking includes only characters that have appeared as fighters up until Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Once we've spent some time with Ultimate and we've seen all of the DLC characters it has to offer, we'll revisit this ranking.
Part Batman, Part Superman and All Green: The Unexpected Appeal of Martian Manhunter
J'onn J'onnz, the Martian Manhunter, isn't exactly the most mainstream superhero in the DC Universe. Despite a relatively top tier booking in the Justice League roster, a handful of animated features, and a live action incarnation courtesy of the CW's Supergirl and actor David Harewood, he's not exactly the sort of character you could show to anyone on the street for immediate recognition -- but what J'onn lacks in Batman or Wonder Woman level fame, he makes up for with a very specific level of relatability, unique to him among his peers. And that's exactly what co-creators Steve Orlando and Riley Rossmo hope to tap into with his brand new limited series, Martian Manhunter, out now.
Fortnite Creative Allows You to Create Your Own Private Island
Epic is set to launch Fortnite Create on December 6, a brand new mode allowing you to customize your own private island which can be saved and used at any time.
Launching the new mode will set players up with their own island where games can be designed, race tracks can be crafted, and battles against your friends can be customized to your liking. Whatever is built and placed will be saved and can later be returned to after shutting off the mode.
While Creative sounds a lot like the already available Playground mode, its biggest difference is the blank canvas that is your private island. Objects like trees, cars, and even entire buildings can be placed to create your own environments. Any weapon or consumable can be spawned and up to 16 players can enter your island.
