New Gotham Season 5 Trailer Promises ‘The Dark Knight is Coming’
Gotham's final season premieres in less than a month, and even as chaos rains down on the city, Bruce Wayne is growing closer to becoming the hero he was destined to be.
IGN can exclusively debut a new trailer for Gotham Season 5, which offers the tease we've all been waiting for: "the Dark Knight is coming."
In the footage, we see Bruce and a newly-healed Selina going toe-to-toe (gadgets, claws and all) before they become Batman and Catwoman, plus a blink and you'll miss it shot of Shane West's Bane. Naturally, Cameron Monaghan's Jeremiah is still causing mischief in this lawless No Man's Land, while Jim Gordon and the rest of the GCPD try to defend what's left of the city from the villainous factions currently staking claim to their own territories.
Mortal Engines: Exclusive Clip of Its Ghoulish Cyborg Villain
With the film's release now just a week away, check out an exclusive clip from the Peter Jackson-produced steampunk epic Mortal Engines, featuring antagonist Shrike, played by Avatar and Don't Breathe's Stephen Lang.
Part-cyborg and part-ghoul, Shrike is in pursuit of heroine Hester Shaw, but he takes on a deeper significance as the action-packed, futuristic story proceeds.
The exclusive clip below shows Hester (Hera Hilmar) and fellow protagonist Tom Natsworthy (Robert Sheehan) making their escape from what is essentially a human meat market when Shrike catches up to them. Watch it in the player below:
Universal and WETA Workshop have also launched a new micro-site that breaks down the visual effects of Mortal Engines. The user can navigate their way through the various stage of development on Shrike, from initial design to onset reference for motion animation to adding elements to Shrike's damaged state and then the final shot.
Avengers 4: How Endgame’s Thanos Scarecrow Pays Homage to the Comics
The trailer for Avengers: Endgame has arrived. And while the surviving members of the Avengers are looking pretty unhappy at the moment, there's one character in the new trailer who seems perfectly content.
Thanos is briefly shown tilling the fields on his quiet farm, basking in the glory of having just murdered half of all life in the universe. And as he does so, the trailer features a shot of his old armor, now propped up as a bizarre sort of scarecrow.
It may seem strange to see one of the greatest villains in the MCU living the simple life. But as with most things in the MCU, this scene draws inspiration directly from the comics. Here's why the "Thanos-crow" matters to the plot of the movie, and why it could hint at a shift in Thanos' motivations going forward.
Watch the Trailer for Disney’s Live-Action Kim Possible
Disney Channel has set the premiere date for its upcoming live-action Kim Possible movie - and released a new trailer for the comedic action-adventure, which sees newcomer Sadie Stanley stepping into Kim's iconic cargo pants.
According to Disney Channel, Kim Possible kicks off when "Kim and her best friend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable (Sean Giambrone), start Middleton High School, where Kim must navigate an intimidating new social hierarchy. She is ready to tackle the challenge head on, just as she has with everything else in life, but her confidence is shaken when she faces roadblocks at every turn – getting lost in the confusing hallways, being late to class and facing rejection during soccer tryouts from her frenemy, Bonnie. Kim's day starts to turn around when she and Ron meet and befriend Athena, a new classmate and Kim Possible super-fan who is having an even worse day than Kim. With Kim's guidance and friendship, Athena transforms into the newest member of Team Possible. Soon, Athena starts to eclipse Kim just as the nefarious Drakken and Shego resurface in Middleton with a master plan to finally stop Kim. Now it's up to Team Possible -- Kim, Ron, tech-genius Wade, new friend Athena, and Rufus, a Naked mole-rat that Ron meets along the way -- to stop these super villains."
Avengers 4: All the Clues the Sequel Was Going to Be Called ‘Endgame’
One of the biggest mysteries in the geek community has finally been solved. We now know that Avengers 4 is officially titled "Avengers Endgame." Perhaps not the most glamorous title in the MCU, but it gets the point across. And more importantly, it turns out that Marvel has been teasing this title for several years now.
Here's a look back at all the clues towards the title of Avengers 4, dating all the way back to 2015.
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Shortly after Ultron first manifests itself in this movie, the Avengers have a heated argument over whether it was such a good idea for Tony and Bruce to build a hyper-intelligent A.I. system with near-unlimited power. As friends do from time to time. Tony's justification for designing Ultron is to reference his near-death experience at the end of the first Avengers movie and the unknown threat posed by enemies from other worlds. Tony says, "That up there. That’s the endgame. How were you guys planning on beating that?".

The Outer Worlds Is Bringing Fun Back to Science Fiction
Obsidian is no stranger to good roleplaying games. For more than a decade the developer behind Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, Fallout: New Vegas, the Pillars of Eternity series, and more has delivered the kind of strange and fantastical worlds where players can get lost saving the world, or dooming it. Now, the studio is back at it again with a new sci-fi slice of fresh hell to get lost in: The Outer Worlds.
The Outer Worlds is something new for Obsidian. It’s not concerned with dragons and elves, or post-apocalyptic desert bugs and raiders. There are no Jedi (that I know of.)
