343 Industries and Limbitless Solutions Partner for Halo-Themed ‘Bionic Arm’ Prosthetic

Halo developer 343 Industries and Limbitless Solutions have announced a collaboration to provide a new Halo-themed, 3D-printed prosthetic arm for "young heroes who – like the Master Chief himself – also routinely and triumphantly beat the odds."

As detailed by 343, two special Halo-themed options will be added to Limbitless' lineup of designs beginning in 2019.

The first Bionic Arm is a recreation of Master Chief's own Mk. VI armor, while the second is a "multiplayer" variant of the "Mjolnir-inspired and personalized prosthetic" that will come in many colors to "create a Spartan style as unique and heroic as the recipients themselves."

These Two New Sports Anime Offer a Refreshing Focus on Relatable Problems

Sports anime have always been an eccentric flavor of a genre; they contain so many of the quirks that make anime intense and exciting, but they also can nail the slow burn character development and arcs we find in introspective stories. Hits like Kuroko's Basket and Prince of Tennis, for instance, are full of short-burst, high-adrenaline matches, and exaggerated abilities. On the other hand, series like Ace of Diamond, Haikyuu!, and Slam Dunk! tend to be more slow, drawn out, and character-driven. This season of anime takes a new spin on sports anime with two very different but fascinating series - Tsurune, a show focused on archery, and Run with the Wind, a show focused on running relays. While both of these shows have many of the shared traits of sports anime, they also do a fantastic job of balancing relatable problems with non-traditional ideas of masculinity.

Building a Superhero Team is Harder Than It Looks in Runaways Sneak Peek

Season 1 of Marvel's Runaways spends a lot of time establishing the titular teens before they actually, ahem, run away from their villainous parents, but in Season 2 of the Hulu comic book series, our heroes are definitely out of the house and on the lam, which will force them into plenty of dangerous situations and locations they never could've anticipated.

In IGN's exclusive sneak peek at Season 2, we see the Runaways in a hideout that should be familiar to fans of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona's comic - "The Hostel," a sprawling mansion that sank during an earthquake and is now buried underground, making it a perfect shelter for a group of wannabe heroes who are just learning to harness their powers and work as a team.

Over 700 movies were released theatrically in 2018, and that doesn't even scratch the surface.
