Arrow Sneak Peek: Oliver Gets Help From an Unlikely Source

Oliver Queen may be behind bars, but after surviving a round of torturous brainwashing and an underground prison fight club, it's clear he hasn't lost his edge - at least if our exclusive sneak peek from this week's episode is any indication.

In the scene from "Due Process" above, Laurel comes to offer Oliver assistance with his case, but in typical Ollie fashion, our hero is suspicious of the new District Attorney's motives, even after she reveals that she's working with Felicity to try and get him out.

Since Black Siren was ultimately responsible for letting Diaz escape at the end of Season 6, thus putting Felicity and William in danger, Oliver doesn't pull his punches - and even though Laurel seems to be trying to leave her villainous past behind her, it remains to be seen whether Oliver's harsh words will push her back towards a darker path. Here's The CW's description of Season 7, episode 6, titled "Due Process":

Spyro Fans Angered at Activision’s Response to Missing Subtitles

When Activision released Spyro Reignited Trilogy last week, some players were upset to discover that there are no subtitles available for cutscenes. Activision has since issued a statement regarding the missing subtitles, but it doesn't seem to be placating fans.

"When Toys For Bob set out to make an awesome game collection, there were certain decisions that needed to be made throughout the process," reads Activision's statement to GamePitt. "The team remained committed to

the integrity and legacy of Spyro that fans remembered intact.

"The game was built from the ground up using a new engine for the team (Unreal 4) and was localized in languages that had not previously been attempted by the studio. While there’s no industry standard for subtitles, the studio and Activision care about the fans’ experience especially with respect to accessibility for people with different abilities and will evaluate going forward."

Artifact Payment Model Causes Backlash, Valve Responds

Artifact, Valve’s online trading card game, has received some considerable backlash from fans for its “pay for everything” payment model - and Valve has given an official response.

As reported by PC Gamer, fans have a bevy of complaints about the game’s payment model. Despite the base game with its initial set of cards costing $20, fans will have to pay $2 for every booster pack of cards. Fans can also win more cards by playing drafting modes using event tickets (which cost real-world money to purchase) or buy and sell specific cards in the marketplace, which Valve also profits off of.

Smash Ultimate: Everything You Need to Know About Story Mode

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch features a single-player mode called World of Light, which is all about collecting “spirits” to power up your roster of characters. The mode amounts to a series of challenges that reward you with spirits so you can, in turn, collect more spirits that can be upgraded and help you conquer bigger and tougher challenges. It’s an admittedly addictive system filled to the brim with delightful fan service, and while I didn’t finish my playtime thinking this will be the mode I pour the most hours into, it was a fun way to test my skills as a Smash player.

How Challenges Work

Challenges are primarily how you collect spirits, so completing Challenges will be what you spend most of your time doing in World of Light. Difficulty can vary wildly, so to give yourself the best shot at success you’re encouraged to read the prep screen and go in with the proper spirits equipped. (See us take on five Challenges in the video below.)
