BlizzCon Merch Store May Have Revealed New Diablo Title
Blizzard has revealed its BlizzCon 2018 merchandise and a few of the items bear the name "Diablo Reign of Terror," which may indicate a potential leak of the title of a new game in the Diablo franchise.
The BlizzCon 2018 sale, in which purchases are only available to ticket and virtual ticket holders until October 18, has three items, a poster and two shirts, that have the "Diablo Reign of Terror" moniker and raise the question of what that new title could mean.
Blizzard has already revealed that BlizzCon 2018, which begins on Friday, November 2, will feature a panel called Diablo: What's Next and it has teased some big news as the description reads, "Join the Diablo team as they discuss of what's in store for the heroes of Sanctuary."
Fortnite Is Getting an ATV with a Plow
Epic Games is bringing another vehicle to Fortnite in the form of the Quadcrasher, an ATV with a snowplow mounted on the front of it.
Much like Fortnite's ATKs (golf carts), the Quadcrasher will have a boost ability but, as the ATV's plow would indicate, boosting will be useful for more than just going faster. It'll also be able to ram right through other players' structures.
"Charge the boost to crash through structures or get some air!" reads Epics description of the Quadcrasher.
EA ‘Exploring’ Command & Conquer Remasters
Electronic Arts is considering remastering the original Command & Conquer PC games for the series' 25th anniversary, which arrives September 2020.
"As most of you may know, we recently announced Command & Conquer: Rivals, a mobile game set in the Command & Conquer universe," Electronic Arts producer Jim Vessella posted on Reddit yesterday. "Following the reveal of Rivals, we heard you loud and clear: the Command & Conquer community also wants to see the franchise return to PC. And as a fan of C&C for over 20 years, I couldn’t agree more.
"With that in mind we’ve been exploring some exciting ideas regarding remastering the classic PC games, and already have the ball rolling on our first effort to celebrate the upcoming 25th Year Anniversary."
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Dev Sets Up Senua’s Scholarship Fund for Mental Health
Ninja Theory, the developer of such titles as Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, has teamed up with Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and its charity Head to Toe to launch Senua's Scholarship to help students improve their mental health and lead successful lives.
Ninja Theory, who was recently purchased by Microsoft, spent three years working with "staff and students from CPFT's Recovery College East to gain an understanding of mental health as the lead character Senua has experiences of psychosis."
Announced on NHS and CPFT's website, the students awarded Senua's Scholarship will "be supported by the college team to develop their training skills and work towards training qualification."
Diablo III Is Reportedly Getting Cross-Play
It seems Diablo III will join the growing list of games to support cross-platform multiplayer.
In an interview with Business Insider Australia, a Blizzard Entertainment representative said the studio is "actively working with partners at Sony and Microsoft to enable cross-console play with 'Diablo 3' on Switch."
Although PC was not explicitly mentioned, and no targeted release date was announced, the representative assures fans, "it's a question of when, not if."
Recently, Sony announced it would finally allow cross-play for Fortnite players on PlayStation 4 and, following the announcement, a number of developers voiced their support for cross-play.

First Look at Idris Elba in Fast and Furious Spinoff
Here's your first look at Idris Elba as the villain in Hobbs & Shaw, the upcoming spinoff to the Fast and the Furious Franchise.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has posted a picture to his Instagram welcoming Elba to the cast alongside some information on the role he plays.
"I learned a long time ago (when I was a very sinful eyebrow raising villainous man in the crazy world of pro wrestling;) that heroes are only as great as their greatest villains." says Johnson.
Spock’s ‘Highly Emotional Relationship’ in Star Trek: Discovery
Star Trek: Discovery is ramping up towards Season 2, which it was revealed at New York Comic-Con last week will debut on January 17, 2019. And the NYCC panel featured the complete cast of the show, including of course series star Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Michael Burnham. IGN caught up with the actress after the panel for a quick chat about what to expect from Season 2, including how Michael feels about her adopted brother Spock (Ethan Peck), what the deal is with that mysterious Red Angel teased in the trailers for the season, what the arrival of Captain Pike (Anson Mount) on the ship means for the Disco crew, and much more.
Black Panther Writer, Director Returning for Sequel
Ryan Coogler is back to both direct and write a Black Panther sequel.
IGN has confirmed that Coogler has closed a deal to return for another Black Panther film for Marvel Studios. Coogler directed this year's blockbuster hit Black Panther and co-wrote the film with Joe Robert Cole. THR does not mention whether Cole will also be returning to write.
As originally reported by THR, Coogler is, as of this deal looking, to write the film next year, with a tentative plan to start shooting the sequel in late 2019 or early 2020. A Black Panther sequel has not officially been announced or dated, however. Outside of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Marvel's exact post-Avengers 4 plans are largely unknown.
