Twitch Adds New Built-In Karaoke Game for Streamers
Twitch streamers who love to sing along to songs with their viewers soon have a more robust option for doing so, and interested streamers can register to try it out right now.
Created in partnership with Rock Band studio Harmonix, Twitch Sings is a dedicated app that lets streamers play a karaoke game with their viewers. While streamers sing songs, their viewers can use special chat options to start "light shows" on their virtual stage as well as propose different challenges.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Reviews Roundup
Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally available on PS4 and Xbox One, offering a long-awaited return to the world of Rockstar Games' Western franchise. And while you can judge the experience for yourself, we've decided to take a look at the larger critical reception RDR2 has received so far.

Fortnite Developer Just Raised Another Billion Dollars
Epic Games announced Friday that they received an investment of approximately $1.25 billion from KKR, ICONIQ Capital, Smash Ventures, aXiomatic, Vulcan Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, according to AP.
The funds are meant to create further partnerships in technology, entertainment, esports, and other live events. The investors have now joined Disney, Tencent, and Endeavor as minority shareholders in Epic.
Epic Games continues to be controlled by founder and CEO, Tim Sweeney.
“We’re excited to partner with the finest minds in the financial, sports, and entertainment communities," Sweeney said in a statement. "This reinforces Epic’s position of leadership in real-time 3D technology, and accelerates our ability to improve the way people play, work, and interact with the world."

Marvel Studios Boss Kevin Feige on When the Avengers 4 Trailer Will Debut and Guardians 3 Status
At a special screening of Black Panther on Thursday evening, Sirius XM journalist Erick Weber posted a tweet of responses from Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige on when the Avengers 4 trailer will debut, among other questions.
Feige said the trailer will be released "before the end of the year," which confirms the Avengers 4 trailer will debut within approximately 2 months – sometime in 2018.
Lucasfilm Boss Kathleen Kennedy Reportedly Confirms Boba Fett Movie Is Dead
According to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, the long rumored Boba Fett standalone film is "100% dead."
Via Dark Horizons, Sirius XM journalist Erick Weber tweeted the news by saying, "Kathleen Kennedy just confirmed to me Boba Fett movie is 100% dead, 100% focusing on THE MANDALORIAN. #StarWars"
The Mandalorian is Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars series that will debut exclusively on Disney's upcoming streaming service and will take place seven years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follow a new warrior inspired by Jango and Boba Fett.
Vampyr Coming to Nintendo Switch
Vampyr, the gothic action role-playing game released for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One earlier this year, is officially coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Revealed through a Focus Home Interactive earnings report, it looks like the success of Vampyr on its current platforms has given the publisher reason to bring Dontnod’s title to Nintendo’s handheld/console hybrid.
"In Q3, the Group will continue to maximize the potential of the Vampyr license,” the report notes. "After the game's impressive success on PC, Xbox One and PS4, it will be Nintendo Switch's turn to welcome the DontNod title to reach an even wider audience.” The report doesn’t clarify if Q3 is in regards to 2018 or 2019, though a fiscal third quarter typically ends in September, so 2019 is a likely bet.
Monster Hunter Movie Photo Shows Off Iconic In-Game Item in Response to Fan Backlash
After fans became worried that the upcoming Monster Hunter film wouldn’t feature weapons and items typically in the game franchise, a new photo shows off a decidedly iconic tool fans will undoubtedly recognize.
Milla Jovovich posted the picture in question on Instagram, showing off a slinger attached to her left arm and her body decked out in metal armor. The photo came with the following caption: "Captain Natalie Artemis. Ranger. Monster Hunter. Just a little peek for all the @monsterhunterworld fans out there who were worried the other day. Here is Captain Artemis wearing a ‘slinger' on her arm. I will also post a pic at some point of some of the incredible MH weapons we’ve recreated for the film."
