AMC voiced they have plans to produce multiple new TV shows and movies for The Walking Dead, according to Bloomberg.

President and Chief Executive Officer of AMC, Josh Sapan said at an investor conference last week their plans on continuing The Walking Dead for another 10 years.

AMC has spoken with large media companies about collaborating on the projects, which could lead to costs up to several hundred million dollars.

It peaked at 19 million viewers in 2015 and has since declined to an average of 11 million for the most recent season. However, The Walking Dead is still one of AMC's most heavily watched shows after eight seasons.

THQ Nordic Acquires Alone in the Dark, Act of War

The acquisition train that is THQ Nordic seemingly won’t end, as it has acquired two new intellectual properties: the horror franchise Alone in the Dark, and the real-time strategy franchise Act of War.

Announced by THQ Nordic’s Twitter account, both of these properties were previously held by Atari, though Alone in the Dark is a much more well-known entity. Venom: New Information About Why Symbiotes Come to Earth

While Venom's story hinges around one symbiote in particular (you know, the title character who bonds with Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock), it's no secret that the new Sony film will feature several of the mysterious aliens that have come to Earth.

When IGN visited the set of Venom earlier this year, the production team behind the movie explained why and how the symbiotes ended up on Earth to begin with.

"We see, at the beginning of the film, the moment when the symbiotes are collected up by a Life Foundation space probe, which finds them on a comet drifting through space, approaching Earth.
