The Last Ship Must Prevent Another World War in Final Season
The Last Ship begins its final voyage on September 9, and IGN has an exclusive first look at the new Season 5 trailer, which sees Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) and his former crew coming together for one last mission, with the fate of the world once again in the balance.
Check out the trailer below:
Here's the official summary for Season 5 from TNT:
"This season, the world is finally recovering from the deadly virus that devastated the population, but global political unrest remains. Tom Chandler (Dane) has retired and his former crew has scattered, many having risen in the ranks within the Navy. Sasha Cooper (Bridget Regan), Lieutenant Danny Green (Travis Van Winkle), SBS WO-N Wolf Taylor (Bren Foster) and Sergeant Azima Kandie (Jodie Turner Smith) are on a covert mission in Panama. When they are wrongly blamed for an attack on the Panamanian president, the consequences for the United States are dire. The Nathan James must fight to prevent invasion by Latin America — and the next world war."
Venom’s New Mythology Sets a Strong Example for the Movie
It's safe to say that a lot of Marvel fans are looking to Sony's upcoming Venom movie with mixed emotions. As great as it is to see Eddie Brock making his way back to the big screen, the fact that this movie seems intent on retelling Venom's origin story with little or no involvement from Spider-Man is perplexing. How do you even get Venom without Spider-Man and remain even remotely faithful to the comics? Can Venom ever truly exist as an independent character? Well, if his new comic book series is any indication, the answer to that second question is a resounding yes.
Reigns: Game of Thrones Announced
Reigns, the royal advisor/strategy game, is officially getting a Game of Thrones version, coming to PC, iOS and Android devices in October 2018.
Announced through the official Reigns website, Reigns: Game of Thrones appears to operate much like Reigns and its sequel, Reigns: Her Majesty. The player assumes the position of a leader, in this case one of the various characters in Game of Thrones, as they make decisions based on what those around them advise.
Say Jon Snow is in charge: Sansa may ask for his help because the Iron Fleet is attacking the Wolfswood. Snow can either swipe right on this card and tell her she can have all the soldiers she needs, or reject her request. In Reigns, players must balance church, people, military and wealth with their decision making, careful not to allow any to become too weak or powerful. It appears Reigns: Game of Thrones uses a similar system.

The rest of the Top Gun: Maverick cast includes Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Glen Powell, and Jennifer Connelly. Miles Teller also stars as the son of Maverick's (Tom Cruise) late best friend Goose.
Bond 25: Danny Boyle Reportedly Quit Over Villain Dispute
Danny Boyle may have quit James Bond 25 due to a disagreement with the film's main villain.
The director recently departed the project due to "creative differences," and Boyle's choice for who should portray the villain may have been the main sticking point.
The Telegraph reports Boyle wanted to cast Polish actor Tomasz Kot as the villain, with the film's script centering on political tensions with Russia. However, Kot was reportedly thought of as a "left-field" decision for a Bond villain.

Movies That Look Like Kids Movies, But That Kids Shouldn’t See
By now you've probably seen so many movies that you can tell a lot about them at a glance. And usually, if you saw a poster or a still image from a movie about anthropomorphic animals or friendly kids show hosts or adorable puppets, you'd be 100% correct in assuming that those films were made for kids. Well, maybe not 100%...
Sometimes you'd be wrong, dead wrong. Some filmmakers use the iconography of children's entertainment to tell subversive, disturbing, or violent stories that are entirely inappropriate for children. They look like the kind of movies that kids will want to watch, but you shouldn't let them until they're much, much, much older. With one such film, The Happytime Murders, hitting theaters, let's take a look at some of the films that look like they're kids movies, but that kids shouldn't see!
